    I do not get all the talk about "starting point" and "end point" and "point where nothing has to be taken for granted". Every deductively valid argument is circular, what is he talking about? Does anyone know literature on this?

      They are not the same, but they are similar: Plato uses the similarity to press his point in this part of the book.
