Do you have a small check list of what needed to be modified due to the body lift? For example I hear the fuel filler and stick shift need to be extended. I have a 3 inch suspension lift but looking to add more height.
If you want to do a body lift on a complete factory truck here is the list of things that needs to be change for lifting body. If you have a manual trans you will need a shifter extension. Auto will need no change like mine. If you plan on keeping the factory mechanical cooling fan the radiator will need to be lower back to original location. I am going electric cooling fan so I won't be doing this. Finally if you are sticking with factory bumpers they will need to be raised to match body lines. I will be going custom so again I won't be doing this. This is just things off the top of my head that I know will need to be change. Good luck.
There is no adjustment on the steering shaft. The slip joint in steering shaft should have enough length in it to use up to a 3 inch lift. Should be able to moved on it own.
