The Ltd. Exp. ”MIDORI” which had opened service on July 1, 1971. It has operated between Hakata and Sasebo. Currently, it is operated by Series 783 that has started service on March 13, 1988. Series 783 that has a nickname ”Hyper-Saloon” had attracted a lot of attention because Series 783 was the first train of the JR Group.
