A burnt offering is a type of sacrifice that was offered to God by the Israelites according to the instructions given in the book of Leviticus. The animal was to be a male without defect, and it was to be slaughtered in the Lord's presence. The blood of the animal was then to be splashed against the sides of the altar, and the animal was to be skinned and cut into pieces. The pieces, including the head and fat, were then to be placed on the altar and burned as a burnt offering, which was a food offering and an aroma pleasing to the Lord. The burnt offering was a way for the Israelites to show devotion and atonement for sin.

@The Scripture Revival you did a good job but it would be cool if the church made a show of Leviticus they leave out so much content with the exodus and torah too like no numbers or deuteronomy animations. It would be nice to see a complete and accurate animation rather than just ending it with the 10 commandments and skipping the rest of the story. I know the bible project and thanks for sharing it it's not what I'm looking for but no worries I hope one day someone completes it.
The ark of covenant is wrongly presented because the acacia wood to be used to carry the ark is not on the long side but on the short sides. Be careful
Good work on spotting that. Have done a video on exodus 25 ( ruclips.net/video/gK2KhiJ557M/видео.htmlsi=oCLV1h-uGHMS0m1A ) where the construction of the ark of covenant is mentioned. While making the video I was also confused which side it could have been. Dont think the bible says if it was longer side or the shorter side (Exodus 25:14). Most of the representations of the ark is on the longer side. It also makes sense naturally as it would be easier to carry the ark if it was on the longer side as it would distribute the weight better than if it were on the shorter side. Most of the ancient culture in middle east and Asia and Even Ancient Egypt(which Moses and the Israelites would have been familiar with) had a special carriage for royalties called palanquin. Mostly its design was to have poles through the longer side. I think this is what the ark was meant to represent where the Priests carry on their shoulders the presence of their true King - The King of the Universe. Thats why I assumed it was on the longer side. But I dont think it matters doctrinally which side it was on. And if the bible has omitted it, dont think it matters much. But would very much like to hear why you think it could have been on the shorter side. Thanks again for bringing this to attention.
