I learned about Frank from cliffe. Frank really has his info organized and a strong delivery with visuals and descriptions. We learn from Frank Turek about things that need to be thought through by every person. Dr Turek is matter of fact In his approach and not so preachy or deep in scripture. We get that where we want to if we want. Turek helps you think in a more sensible way about the information.

It seems that what’s really being achieved by scholars like Frank, Cliffe and Stewart, who are obviously intelligent and capable apologists, is the achievement of strengthening the body of Christ. Sure there’s the fun of sharpening ones wits, going toe to toe with those who oppose Jesus Christ, but in the greater scheme of things, the believing bystander learns a thing or two. And consequently, like young eagles watching and waiting, they too eventually take to the skies soaring like their wise parents do.

All I am saying is that the true greatness, of what’s being achieved from a Christian perspective by these apologists, who give their defence, is that the Christian bystander, of which I am one of them, gets more fully educated by watching these guys at work. And this is greater than any benefits that are racked up from successfully reasoning with those who are opposed to Jesus Christ. And this is another story. If I am correct in my assumption that you are not a follower of Jesus Christ, then I can tell you that you are this way because it’s your deep seated preference, and that’s a story in itself. And as we will always allow our preferences to rule the day sacrificing logic if necessary, and this might apply to me too, then it’s not the genius with the clearest argument who wins but instead it’s the one who’s actually somehow gotten it right. And perhaps some would say that it’s luck that’s got them on the winning side, whatever side that is, but if I am right then you are wrong. But you say you are right. And you hope you are right. And you want to be right. But you will be beaten if I am right. But I don’t say I hope and pray that I’m right. I don’t need to. Because I know I am right. And until you are right like me you’ll never know what it’s like to be right. You have no idea what it’s like to know you’re right and that God indeed exists. I love learning more just about the arguments, but really gaining a sense of how these men of God approach things both biblically and practically. It's helpful to see how and why they respond the way they do when facing so many arguments, with the different perspectives or issues that arise.
I love these guys, I can't get tired watching them. I know cliffe is mentoring Stuart to carry on the ministry but I don't know if Frank is mentoring any young man, I hope he has one. I would be very happy to see him raise a disciple to carry on.

But before you said that, you mentioned about how Jesus will come back to establish the Kingdom of God on Earth. Giving him a kingly position of authority to set up that which only God can do. The Kingdom of God can only be established by God’s authority.

Yes, God doesn't CAUSE us to not choose Him, but by Him creating us in the first place, isn't that the cause for our free will? I do struggle with this too but I choose to believe that many of these things we doctrinally believe have to be deeper… Just because someone read John 3 and didn’t believe can’t mean they’re just damned to hell… the acceptance of Christ HAS to be deeper than just “ok I read the chapter in the book and now Im either a believer or not” The acceptance and revelation of god is special to the Bible… but by all means is constantly alluded to the fact that everyone on this earth has the inclination toward god, just as much as we want to flip him off. It’s not about God creating humanity just to suffer or arbitrarily live when our destinations are set It’s about the deeper connection that we have severed with god, and even when we’re born as children we may remain sinless for a time But eventually we will make a mistake. God is deeper than the personification we constantly place on him. He is a personal god but he is also eternal and omnipresent… the concept of him creating us is so much deeper than reading genesis literally… I believe god is creative and refuses to stifle his creations problem solving abilities…. It’s hard to answer some of the concepts of god but I choose to believe it’s deeper than we want to believe and that he will ultimately make things ok

More or less, Cliffe thinks evolution was the way God created life, but not the beginning of it, Turek goes by a similar line, but believes that at a certain point God began the process at some point with a shape that resembled what would become today as the final form of a Human or Dog, Chicken, Cat etc. Hope this helps.
I loved listening to Cliffe and his son. After I realized they believed in macro evolution by the creator I felt we weren't on the same page or even book for that matter. I except adaptation obviously. But the Bible states that God formed man from dust and breathed life giving breath into his nostrils that then gave him life. I take this literally as God can do all things. And It has always been taught ti be taken literally. If Cliffe believes in miracles then surely he can believe this one. I haven't heard Turek say anything that would suggest he believes in evolution from a single cell or any other form of evolution. Only adaptation. No change among species as I thought I'd heard him say. There is no observable evidence of change among any species. And there is no two cell or three cell or four cell life forms... i don't think the ressurection is the thing that creates our belief in God. i would say that Bible is the ultimate primer of pure good and pure evil. If purity exist it can only be something shown to us and outside of us. that is exactly what was shown in Jesuses life and death on cross. Purity, pure goodness revealed throuh life and final perfect act of love!
I saw a debate with you and Aron Ra and TJump. Why do you claim to know their thoughts, intetions and feelings better than they themselves do? Why do christians often do this to atheists? Like: "you are just angry at god, or you are angry at the church, or you are denying the truth, or you are borrowing your morality from us". It doensn't help the conversation between theists and atheists. It is only insulting, disrespecting and ad hominem attacks. Why not try do understand the other person, honestly and humbly? Miracles happen everyday. In the medical field, people are given low if not no chance to recover from sickness, injuries etc.. and they live to tell about it. Simply type medical miracles and you'll find plenty. Everyday that the Universe doesn't cease to exist, the oxygen in the air, the life on the planet, is a miracle.

A miracle is simply something outside of our known and understood laws of the universe. Such as the laws of thermodynamics. One law states energy can be neither created or destroyed. The fact we have a universe and science points to a beginning and not a circle is evidence of a miracle. It seems that what’s really being achieved by scholars like Frank, Cliffe and Stewart, who are obviously intelligent and capable apologists, is the achievement of strengthening the body of Christ.
Sure there’s the fun of sharpening ones wits, going toe to toe with those who oppose Jesus Christ, but in the greater scheme of things, the believing bystander learns a thing or two.
And consequently, like young eagles watching and waiting, they too eventually take to the skies soaring like their wise parents do.

All I am saying is that the true greatness, of what’s being achieved from a Christian perspective by these apologists, who give their defence, is that the Christian bystander, of which I am one of them, gets more fully educated by watching these guys at work.
And this is greater than any benefits that are racked up from successfully reasoning with those who are opposed to Jesus Christ. And this is another story.
If I am correct in my assumption that you are not a follower of Jesus Christ, then I can tell you that you are this way because it’s your deep seated preference, and that’s a story in itself.
And as we will always allow our preferences to rule the day sacrificing logic if necessary, and this might apply to me too, then it’s not the genius with the clearest argument who wins but instead it’s the one who’s actually somehow gotten it right.
And perhaps some would say that it’s luck that’s got them on the winning side, whatever side that is, but if I am right then you are wrong.

And you want to be right.

You claimed that Jesus never said he was God. But before you said that, you mentioned about how Jesus will come back to establish the Kingdom of God on Earth. Giving him a kingly position of authority to set up that which only God can do. The Kingdom of God can only be established by God’s authority.

43:20 - someone help me out! As a newfound Christian, I do still struggle with the predetermined issue. Yes, God doesn't CAUSE us to not choose Him, but by Him creating us in the first place, isn't that the cause for our free will? If He created us knowing we would say no to Him, isn't that indirectly setting us up? I'm struggling with this!

The acceptance and revelation of god is special to the Bible… but by all means is constantly alluded to the fact that everyone on this earth has the inclination toward god, just as much as we want to flip him off.
It’s not about God creating humanity just to suffer or arbitrarily live when our destinations are set
It’s about the deeper connection that we have severed with god, and even when we’re born as children we may remain sinless for a time
But eventually we will make a mistake.
God is deeper than the personification we constantly place on him. He is a personal god but he is also eternal and omnipresent… the concept of him creating us is so much deeper than reading genesis literally… I believe god is creative and refuses to stifle his creations problem solving abilities…. It’s hard to answer some of the concepts of god but I choose to believe it’s deeper than we want to believe and that he will ultimately make things ok

Don't they have different core beliefs in regards to evolution?
I have heard Cliffe and his son back the theory of evolution.
More or less, Cliffe thinks evolution was the way God created life, but not the beginning of it, Turek goes by a similar line, but believes that at a certain point God began the process at some point with a shape that resembled what would become today as the final form of a Human or Dog, Chicken, Cat etc.

I loved listening to Cliffe and his son.
After I realized they believed in macro evolution by the creator I felt we weren't on the same page or even book for that matter.
I except adaptation obviously.
But the Bible states that God formed man from dust and breathed life giving breath into his nostrils that then gave him life.
I take this literally as God can do all things. And It has always been taught ti be taken literally.
If Cliffe believes in miracles then surely he can believe this one.
I haven't heard Turek say anything that would suggest he believes in evolution from a single cell or any other form of evolution. Only adaptation. No change among species as I thought I'd heard him say. There is no observable evidence of change among any species. And there is no two cell or three cell or four cell life forms...
I find this new way of thinking concerning.

Again, if our consciousness is not projected, but the result of a mindless process of evolution, what you mean by reason does not exist, your thoughts cannot be taken as something real and by definition knowledge is not possible.

i don't think the ressurection is the thing that creates our belief in God. i would say that Bible is the ultimate primer of pure good and pure evil. If purity exist it can only be something shown to us and outside of us. that is exactly what was shown in Jesuses life and death on cross. Purity, pure goodness revealed throuh life and final perfect act of love!
Without the resurrection event you wouldn’t have the Bible !
I saw a debate with you and Aron Ra and TJump. Why do you claim to know their thoughts, intetions and feelings better than they themselves do? Why do christians often do this to atheists? Like: "you are just angry at god, or you are angry at the church, or you are denying the truth, or you are borrowing your morality from us". It doensn't help the conversation between theists and atheists. It is only insulting, disrespecting and ad hominem attacks. Why not try do understand the other person, honestly and humbly? Only then can you actually have a real discussion. I am curious to know the logic behing this.

Silly, go and speak to people who have witnessed them.
Miracles happen everyday. In the medical field, people are given low if not no chance to recover from sickness, injuries etc.. and they live to tell about it. Simply type medical miracles and you'll find plenty. Everyday that the Universe doesn't cease to exist, the oxygen in the air, the life on the planet, is a miracle.

Could Stevie Wonder ever be healed by a Christian healer for example?, that would be an incredible thing that would change my mind on miracles in an instant.
A miracle is simply something outside of our known and understood laws of the universe. Such as the laws of thermodynamics. One law states energy can be neither created or destroyed. The fact we have a universe and science points to a beginning and not a circle is evidence of a miracle. I say evidence and not proof because there are crazy theories of infinite numbers of universes with an infinite number of big bangs which makes his example of how fine tuned our universe expansion rate is for life to exist because it would be crazy to believe it evolved to that magical thin wire enough times in enough multiverses that we finally came into being

Wrong! We are all devout to some belief whether it's putting faith in a deity or putting faith and trust in yourself such as secular humanism. I have found that I am a flawed fickle human being and we all are flawed and incapable of being all-knowing. Therefore, to put ultimate trust and belief in myself would be incredibly stupid and reckless. At the end of the day you worship something ... career, yourself, money, children, spouse or God comes first. To be religious, is to be devoted or devout towards something or someone and Worship simply means to venerate or revere.
