I’m up hear in NW Ohio. While I’ve never had an encounter with one I have always been interested and fascinated by the subject.
I can’t imagine why anyone would write negative comments about your videos… I guess I would chalk it up to no intellectual curiosity.
My thought on why people get so traumatized by seeing one of these creatures is that I believe them to be an ancient evolutionary competitor of ours… they’re larger, stronger and fast than us, but maybe not quite as cunning. But I think that we as a species are just hard wired to fear them. Can intellect overcome that instinct? Yes, but not easily.
Very cool thanks for the sub! That's an interesting perspective, I have never thought of that! As far as the hate, well that I don't know. Some people just have a lot of hate in their heart and feel the need to leave shitty comments to make themselves feel seen instead of going out and making something productive on their own. With that being said, I'm not their therapist, I make bigfoot documentaries, so they get banned and I go on with my life.
@ I don’t know if you have had a chance to listen to Wes’s earlier episodes, but he did do one about an encounter in Michigan in the Romulus area, somewhere near Detroit Metro Airport. This sounded counterintuitive to me until I realized that the airport sits in the middle of a massive wetlands. I don’t remember the guy’s name, but he did record some sounds similar to the “Ohio Howl”.

Wes has shared every video I have made on his blog without me ever talking to him. I just reached out to tell him thank you because he didn't have to do that and I told him about the strange things I have heard and he invited me on the show. It is as simple as that. Wes is genuinely a nice guy and has went out of his way to help me for no other reason than he liked the documentaries.

That scream is horrific. It penetrates your body and the fear is nothing like anything you've ever felt. It's primal and horrifying, and I can see how some people freeze or lose control over their bladder. I don't know what they are, but I do know that asking Jesus to protect you works.
