Love this! I just started my business and have my first market on Friday! thank you for sharing your experience with us! Congratulations! & you really know your stuff
Glad I found this! Lol. I’m actually a marine structural welder by trade! I didn’t even know this was a thing! Definitely considering doing this on the side before it becomes saturated 😩😩. Thanks!
Hi! I am very interested in receiving that extra information to get my own business started. I love the way you explain things and hope you will eventually put a course out also!
Thank you so much! I hope to be able to release something one day. I want it to be really informative so it will take some time for me to pull something like that together.
Hi! Yes I am very interested. I love your content and was just thinking if you put out a course I would be interested for sure. Thank you for sharing ❤
I just started my business, I completed all the steps you listed here so I feel like I’m in the right track! Now I just need events to vend at lol I am here in Atlanta as well
Awesome! There are a lot happening right now for the holiday season. I would look in Atlanta and also branch out into cities around Atlanta when searching for vendor events. Smyrna, Alpharetta, Marietta, all have really good events!
It’s so funny you made this video because i been thinking about starting a permanent jewelry business a lot lately. The main issue is the funds and learning the skill.
Tthose are probably the two biggest hurdles. Once you determine how much you can invest in starting your business, it will help you figure out the best way to get started.
I started learning with RUclips videos. Sunstone has a whole series on their channel. Then I purchased two different courses to tie everything together for me.
Hey Grace! New sub and excited to join the community. Could you share info on which trainings you took, and what type of chains you started with? In the research process and there’s a ton of info. Would like to hear your experience concerning those things. Thanks 🙏
I took two different courses, one offered a starter kit, the other was just the course. I used both to help me learn everything. A lot of permanent jewelry courses are expensive, but RUclips is definitely a good start. A lot of people use RUclips to learn the skill and that helps save money in upfront cost.
New sub here 🎉! Tapping in from Sandy Springs. I’m just starting research and look forward to starting . Thank you for sharing your journey ❤😊 QQ: how did you get your first clients ? Did you start out with a studio ?
Can you recommend wherever to get bulk jewelry? In the process of helping my partner and we’re having a hard time finding spools of jewelry. Here from Cali 🎉
One more question, how long did it take you to go through all the stepsbin your video? Could you share that? How soon after researching did it you feel comfortable to start working on clients? Thanks again
I practice for a few months before I started taking clients but I didn’t feel comfortable until after I had done a few appointments. It took about 2 months to get through the steps of setting up my business, buying courses, and buying my first few pieces of inventory.

Yes, I started with a studio and also did pop ups to get started. My first few clients found me organically through social media.

Hello, do you have liability insurance? If so through what company?

Did you get business funding or did your startup come out your pocket?
I paid everything out of pocket to start.
I love your content ! Would it be possible to break down the cost on starting up this kind of business and what you would recommend for it ? 🤍
I’ve been thinking about doing a full cost breakdown. I’m trying to determine the best way to deliver it without it being too long!
Interested!
