3 MIND-BLOWING PAINTINGS - with some INCREDIBLE camera shots!!

In this week's behind-the-scenes video Ady is busy doing a mega-tidy up of the studio - something that's much needed after a period of very busy activity. It takes a lot to keep things running and this is essentially a whole day of just getting things straight. What a legend!!
Then we get going on the good stuff, which starts the next day with a couple of commissioned paintings that were done when a couple came to paint their own art!!! Two stunning artworks that will feature in the next video.
We then get on to stretching up painting three of the day which reminds me of an undersea kingdom - and then we get some very cool footage of it, close up, using our new camera slider - what a piece of kit that is! Check out last week's Vlog to see more abut the camera rail.
And because the weather has turned into a heatwave we get into our shorts and get working (in some very warm temperatures) on a giant new painting that can only be described as breath-taking!! We painted during a Live Stream that you can see here: • How to create a GIANT ...
On which note, this week's stream was hard work for me as I am not feeling too well but the show must go on as they say! I'm glad I did because what came out of that was something pretty incredible. We then return back to the previous giant red and copper painting so that we can get it stretched around the frame.
And as if that's not enough we then get to look at the livestream painting from this current week and it's a beauty! I called it Fire and Ice and you can see why - it is absolutely incredible!
Finally, we finish off a busy week delivering a small painting to a local client to put an original above her fireplace - and what a stunning end to the week it is!!!

Thank you. I don’t varnish anything actually - that finish is built into the paint.
It's beautiful, but what's the technique apart from pouring and letting the mixing paint do it's own work?
That's it Yan, more or less. So much of the process is to do with mixing, consistency, placing, volume rations, understanding what happens when paint moves and all the other delicate balances and variables that make up a successful painting. Then there is colour selection, base layer preparation and curing and the time to monitor what's going on and react accordingly. So whilst the technique may appear basic the subtleties behind it are quite complex.
