My uncle just sent me a photo of my dad who passed away a few years back from cancer. It was from when he got to meet you all. Melted my heart because my dad definitely got to be that "cool dad" and it's amazing. You guys are amazing and have made such an impact on your fans. :)

Wow, does Todd ever sound like Geoff on this one...saw them in Regina...way to go guys. Best QR tune in 20 years. You captured the sound and the feel of the old QR with Chris de Garmo writing.

Bunkie112 I totally agree. It sounds like he is trying to sing like Tate. Tate will always make the group sound better. They will never be as good as they used too. I'm a die hard fan. I have been since the first Operation Mindcrime album!

Gotta be honest. The replacement is A+++ .. If I was not looking at who was singing - I would not be able to tell the difference between Tate and La Torre.. They want to keep the original sound; which warms my heart - because it's a continuance of Queensryche - which I have listened to since I was a young man. Not a replacement.
Good examples of failed attempts: Journey, AC/DC ... need I go on?

Wow!! I honestly haven't listened much to Queensryche since Tribe and I'm seriously impressed. I guess one should never say never. Seeing I believed it impossible to ever hear anyone rise to the levels of being able to sing like Tate or Perry and I've been proven wrong.

not quite sure why my PC must be playing something different than what most of the commenters heard. for anyone to say this song is better than anything from their 1st EP is laughable. latorre is good but there is no substitute for tate, this guy is very close though. make a song that sounds like blinded, lady wore black or just about anything on mindcrime, those were songs that you never forget.

Sometimes, with some amount of guilt, I think this man is better than geoff tate. This bands music helped me get through some really hard times in my life back when I was 12-13 years old. And I continued to listen to them untill promised land. Then I stopped. But ever since Todd came into the band, they are as good, if not better than before.
