  • The Mennonite History for Young People series tells the story of the Mennonites who arrived in Manitoba from Russia in the 1870s and migrated to Mexico and Paraguay in the 1920s. Developed to supplement social studies curricula in Canada, the books can also serve as non-fiction readers for language classes. The books are written to engage both students and adults alike, in accessible language at the Grade 6 reading level.
