That entire brief case would land me 20 years in jail here in Canada 😂
None of the "Odd knives" are illegal i Canada, even the BalisongLike Knife doesnt actually function as a balisong by design, and would be legsl to own here. Your only issue could be our border control deciding to seize it, but buying in Canada alleviates that issue.
No switchblades, gravity knives or proper balisongs though
Here in Brazil it is almost like this, for the time being, the citizen has the right to talk/bargain with the authorities in order not to be arrested or have their penknives confiscated. Probably the government will try to take away that right too, as they once tried to ban kinderjoys for being "dangerous".😂
The whole reason its illegal is purely due to their public perceptions as "criminal affiliated" knives, theres nothing mechanically they do that impoves a knife-wielders ability to hide/get an advantage in potentially ambushing someone more than any oher knife. Its honestly a dumb law.

Man I’ve had 2 different gerber knives break on me. Like they just snapped after normal usage. The metal looked like it was composed of concrete when looking at the breaks on both. Now, it’s been over 10yrs since the latest of the two occurred but still

I’ll be honest. I sincerely don’t understand the insanely bulky designs people like these days.
I would think you would want a low profile knife that doesn’t have much weight but a lot of strength.
These all seem to go the other way of what I would think progression looks like
I honestly only saw one as a strange knife, and that's because of how it's opened.

I have a Sniper Blade Works DMF and the ergos are on point. It looks funny, but is a great blade.
Those might be strange in a general sense but damn those are some beautiful knives. I'm with you though I love things that just hit different. Awe inspiring collection bro.

My whole collection started with strange opening and locking mechanisms. I have tons of strange folders, including rare stuff like the S&W Powerglide.
The knife is good, just looking at the blade calms my mind.
The cytadel is perfection

A friend of mine made me a butterfly knife 40 years ago. Surgical stainless steel, 1 1/2 edged dagger with brass and walnut grips. As a tool and a weapon it will always be my favorite.

I really miss my knives. I had a lot of nice knives, some of them meant a lot to me. But some prick had to break in my house a while back and stole them all, along with other things of course. It's sad because I haven't bought another knife since. I really need to get a good knife to carry ....
