That unsportsmanlike call on the Iowa State touchdown was the most horrid call and biggest bunch of filth I have ever seen from a referee in sports.
Big XII officiating has been HORRIBLE ALL YEAR. The League needs to address this issue after the season is over and do something to bring the standards up.🤔

It sucks when they control the narrative of the game. It sucks even more when it's in the last 4 minutes of the game.!!. Almost makes me not want to watch it anymore..!!
I don't even understand that one. How was the touchdown called off? The celebration was after the touchdown. The penalty should be enforced on the extra point. who saw the actual game, wtf happened there?

This ref clearly decided BEFORE the game he was going to try and manufacture this kind of call. It wasn’t even a penalty unless this ref has a crystal ball and knows what Xavier is thinking while running. Just absolutely ridiculous. I played football in high school and college. I have never in my life seen such a filth taunting unsportsmanlike call in a football game. Reminds me of an overly aggressive police officer that you’d see on RUclips videos lol

Fire him for losing to a pretty good team, too! Iowa State was a dark horse playoff prediction at the start of the season. Hasn’t panned out that way, but they’re still in the mix for the B12 - just like OSU still is.
OU will drop one of their last three games and it’ll get very interesting with tiebreakers, I think.

I only watched the "highlight", so I didn't see the full video/angles, but what they showed in this video that last play looks like the player was on TOP of the other player, thus no body part touched the ground yet, and then he crossed the line with the ball? So, that last call might have been bad? They may have actually gotten the first down?
His momentum was from the OL guy pulling him forward, which is illegal. You can be on top of a guy and not be down, but the moment that guy pulled him toward the line it’s a penalty.
watch again, you can see the ball hit the drawn yellow line BUT that wasn't the first down marker. The ref spots it right there but the actual first down was about 6 inches from the yellow drawn line.
I love that Iowa State has built their program up to where even the refs can't stop them.

Iowa state fans complaining about the unsportsmanlike call (which was indeed an awful call) but failing to admit the refs gifted them the 4th down spot at the end of the game is ridiculous. We all agree the unsportsmanlike penalty was bad but the refs gave Iowa state this game. Regardless, I would love to see a rematch in Arlington in December. GO POKES
