I didn't love 1984 as much as others do. I'll explain more when you're finished. I like Animal Farm quite a bit though. The fact that it is so short did make it somewhat less memorable though.
Fahrenheit 451 is one of my all time favorites! It had a big impact on the type of books I read and really helped cement my love of science fiction. I've known people who had to read it for school who didn't like it though, perhaps for that reason?
Heh, The Diary of Anne Frank is about 10 percent historical account, and 90 percent teen drama. I think you can get a good sense of the history it teaches just from some excerpts honestly.
I like fantasy personally, but I hate how every book these days is a multi volume series. I've heard this book mentioned a lot on RUclips, but I have not read it myself.
