- I come from a city most famous for its elf spotting school. Now I'm traveling to the most famous city in the world perod. New York is everything I expected and nothing like I expected. My number one mission was to spot celebrities and boy did I spot some celebrities.
Do you get value from my videos? You can buy me a coffee with this link :)

#iceland to #newyork
Interesting and well done video. Did the comedian know you were from Iceland?
Yes, he was saying this after he had asked us where we were from. He really did toast us quite a bit 😅
Spot a celebrity in NY? Or Reykjavik? Did you try looking in a mirror?
😅 I think I need more subscribers before I can refer to my self as a celebrity. Also, I didt see my self really. Mirrors don't count.
New York is an awful place I worked there for 20 years
Very fun, thank you. The edge was in the clouds when I visited in April, in May I was in Reykjavik. The cabbage stuff, is a cold season replacement for flowers. Happy New Years!
Thank you 😊 I didn't even know cabbages could withstand cold. The more you know 😅
Great commentary on your visit. So many truths.
The lettuce in flowerpots are probably the only thing that will grow in them because they're subjected to liters of dog pee each day.
Also congratulations to being roasted by Costa. He's very funny.
He's hilarious 😅You know, I noticed, literally last week that these things are also in Reykjavik in the fall. 😅
2023 in Iceland🎉❤🍾Happy New Year… without Covid…I have 5 vaccinations…still caught Covid at Christmas… the shots did help me recover fast
I asked for a shot 2 weeks before we left. But it was fully booked and only available on Mondays 😭 but I have had three shots. Fortunately we didn't get very sick.
Too bad I didn't run into you in Grand Central when you visited! I commute through there for work everyday and then you would have been my celebrity sighting! (or I would have been my normal autopilot New Yorker and just grumbled at you in passing for getting in my way from catching my train...LOL!) Its all perspective I guess! If you decide to come back, try Play Airlines through Stewart Airport in Newburgh and explore the northern NYC suburbs (West Point, Beacon, Catskills). Still connected t NYC though through a commuter rail line. Cheers and thanks for all the great video content!
It would have been hilarious to be recognized while searching for selebs. Maybe one day 😁 I'll make sure to try that. Haven't flown play yet.
You have furniture older than that, lol... I agree. They really have no history. Maybe only natural history museum is good.
😂 I should have checked that out. I will do next time for sure.
Great video! I live near NYC, and I have that cabbage on my front patio 😂! Here’s the deal: we plant “annuals” outside, which are flowers that only survive from spring-fall. Once they die off, we replace them with winter cabbage which stays green in the winter. Then in the spring you change again
Haha thanks. I guess cabbages are better than nothing 😅
😎👍
"I have furniture older than that!" Hope you didn't step in human poop. NYC sucks.
Haha not this time but walking through the steam was arguably worse.
Liessssss! I saw those brassica flowers planted at Reykjavik just outside H&M near the old Harbour!!! I have photo proof dated 25 Dec 2022!
😅That doesn't meen I've seen them. I'll sure be in the lookout now.
@@TimeWarpIceland Hahaha next time please lookout for them ;p
Awesome vid sir!
Thank you 😁
Love you two, have a blast tonight in Reykjavik, you maybe might make a video or two of New Year in Reykjavik, but no pressure! Happy New Year to you two, and all Reykjavik and Iceland!
Thank you 😊 well see how level headed I'll be coming midnight 😅
I got some excellent drone footage and I am barely bleeding.
@@TimeWarpIceland Bleeding? What happened man, I didn't ask for war footage hahaha? Are you ok?
The drone attacked me for no reason. Other than the dog tried to catch it and I decided to catch it first. No worries. I only got three cuts and the dog got a few extra spots. You barely notice they are red not black.
Fun vid but haha its times square 2:50 none of those people are from NYC and most arent even from the Country, its def not a watch party
There were some you were young definitely American football fans in jerseys that suggested this as definitely the best place to watch. But yes, I did see this was 90% curious tourists. Still think it is a shame. It was also missing audio which took something away from the experience.
@@TimeWarpIceland yeh a lot of bars and Halls had watch parties
I've only ever seen those cabbage plants in Akureyri and Egilsstaðir!
Sounds like something they would do. They are strange too. 😅
@@TimeWarpIceland I had a feeling that might be your response 😂
😅
Also that comedian nails it about the rotund Americans in Ohio shirts waddling their way to Blue Lagoon. hahahaha
Haha well he said it. I think the American tourist are very nice. Friendly and respectful. At least 99.9% of them.
@@TimeWarpIceland Yeah we're mostly pretty cool but boy do we sure stick out everywhere on the planet.
😅
'promosm' 😞
What does that mean?
Oh no! Sorry you guys got the 'rona! This was my fear last year going to Iceland and that I'd be locked up for 10 days in some quarantine hotel... lol Hope you get to come back to NYC or explore other parts of the east coast! (which is far superior to the west coast.)
Thank you 😊 we didn't get to do everything on our list so we will definitely go back some day.
I love your perspective on plant decor! That’s so dang funny and spot on!!! My guess is they use it because it’s colorful and lasts longer than flowers.😉
Thank you 😊 Yes somebody mentioned that in the comments. I still think it is veird to replace flowers with vegitation just because it lasts longer. 😅
I have to thank you for your entertainment this year , cracking channel , may see you out on the Reykjavik streets tonight 👍 happy new year
Happy new year 🎉
