Not nit-picking. But it's pronounced "ledding" to rhyme with "sledding." "Leading" comes from the old Linotype machines where type was cast using molten lead on a big Rube Goldberg-like machine. And to put more space between lines, you used lead spacers. And the word "leading" was born. :)
