I found it best to let the auger stop spinning before lifting out of the hole. This lifts more dirt out on the auger blades. The hole will have much less loose dirt to scoop out. Thanks for your video. I am upgrading to this from a 2 stroke auger

Hello Bear. Any update on your Earthquake 9800K auger. I’m on the fence on which model to get. The 9800K or the 9800H with Honda engine. I was wondering if the unit you got with the Kohler engine is still holding well and still performing well.

Yes it is still holding up well.

Have you broken any nuts and bolts for the auger bit shaft? Any other problem aside from the oil spill when you put it on its side?

@@atorjun1 yes the bolts on the spring on. the auger shaft had to be replaced.
