- Monaco is terrible for overtaking, and extremely challenging to lap cleanly thanks to its tight and technical nature. I decided to make it even harder, by making the track even smaller. Enjoy

I know the track is smaller but my brain fully perceived this as the car being giant. I couldn’t look past it

@@jonataniachetta correct me if I’m wrong, but I think scaling the car size would f*ck with a lot of the coding of the car’s physics
@@donnyuploader Yes, I also think so... but actually I'm not sure that the physics changes would be so big to be noticed in this video in which he only reached 200 kmph once and been under 150 kmph for the whole circuit.
You have to consider that there may be changes but you would notice at higher speed, also because it really looks like the whole circuit is scaled down, not only narrower.

nah, they'll just do a controlled half spin. of course at least one driver will fuck it up, so lap 2 will be under safety car, and it will stay that way, until all the drivers that can't manage the spin will be weeded out ;-)

It's like seeing a medium sized toy car drive on a low-med. wide track.
It's not too big that fitting it in the track is no issue, but crashing it will probably make you spend hours searching for every missing piece of de vries.

That hairpin bend is a great representation of folks driving SUVs and 4x4s in the many towns and cities in the UK right now 😂. Folks go and buy massive sh*t boxes (aka reverse Tardis - big on the outside, small on the inside lol) then struggle to drive down any high street especially when they meet a similar vehicle coming the other way. Usually piloted by someone who can barely see over the steering wheel. Much like their owners, vehicles are getting bigger - and not in a good way 😂
F1 needs to go back to the 1980s or earlier designs - much smaller cars which will help having 2 or 3 cars passing each other in track but I fear with safety requirements (so crumple zones) and current rules/manufacturing techniques limiting how small things can be, means we’re stuck with these lawn darts for now.
I think it would be really fun with gokarts. Even just a "replica" of the track.
