My name's La Guardia Cross. I make music, I make art, and I helped make a mini human in 2014 (my wife did most of the work on that last one). Like all new dads, I know exactly what I'm doing. "New Father Chronicles" is my weekly collection of things that make my mistakes not seem so bad. Join me every Wednesday to watch my daughter run my life.

" I wake up, she's there." That imagery though... my niece got me yesterday morning. Snatched my pillow from under my head. Then sat back giggling in all her toddler glory like "You wake up when I tell you to." Her and Amalah are in cahoots.

I will get in trouble for this, but I knew what was up! Even yesterday my youngest daughter said in a statement that "Daddy runs the house". My wife's response..."And I run your daddy" smh. All this time my daughters had me being a manservant (shirt is on the way lol). It was really my wife who is in 100% control of everybody...

so funny, I have a 13 month old. She points to everything and either nods yes or no. so you have to go thru ALL of your food till your fridge is empty to find something.
