If there is one thing Pinoy singers do, they try hard to copy voices of original singers (Arnel Pineda did and many others do that too). Even in bars and folkhouses and street karaoke singing, singers (some are drunk lol) imitate or mimic voices as was originally sung even if some fall short in voice range or with some totally tone deaf lol. Mimicking could be the effect of us doing much karaoke singing. Of course, some add their own interpretation and that is nice which this family does. However, In this song, I wrote a comment in their own song release vlog that I think this is where Char imitated the original singer's voice (Riordan's) to a tee especially in that last part of "la la la" where she had a little bit of yodeling if we may call it that. There were a few rough patches but TO ME, this is yet the best song they covered to date.
If I close my eyes I swear Dolores Oriordan is alive & singing. Arnel Pineda did it for The Journey. Maybe this girl can bring back The Cranberries back to life.
