- Turkey, increasing the equipment of the army in line with changing threats and emerging technologies.
On the one hand, new purchases are made, especially the vehicles and equipment developed by the Turkish defense industry, on the other hand, existing vehicles in the inventory are modernized.
Turkey, as recent modernization work covered by armored combat vehicles took to the agenda.
As part of the Armored Combat Vehicles Modernization Project, the capabilities of the tracked armored vehicles, which form the backbone of the land forces, are increased.
ASELSAN and FNSS, two leading companies of the Turkish defense industry, were assigned for the project.
While the project started on December 31, 2019, the modernization of the first prototype vehicle was completed in a short time, despite the difficulties in pandemic conditions.
With the modernization project, 133 ACVs will be renewed in the first place.
ASELSAN will integrate Nefer unmanned tower with 25 millimeter gun, laser warning, close-range surveillance, driver vision, direction finding and navigation systems to the vehicles.
FNSS, on the other hand, will add air conditioning, heating, fire fighting and explosion suppression systems to the ACV platforms. It will increase the armor and mine protection levels of the vehicles.
The survivability of ACVs, which will be equipped with modern weapon systems and high-tech mission equipment, will be significantly increased and their service life will be extended.
Members of the Turkish Armed Forces will serve in the battlefield with vehicles whose impact power has increased and the security level has been raised to a much higher level as a result of modernization.
Considering that these vehicles are used in many countries, the modernization project is also expected to be preferred abroad in the future.

Maalesef aracın silüeti çok yüksek ve bence bu çok büyük bir zaafiyet.
Bu tür araçlarda tüm ordular top çapını 35-40 mm. e yükseltiyor, bilginiz olsun.
