Canadian customs would not accept the calendar due to batteries and I got a full refund plus a free advent next year!! So I am not disappointed at all!! I even responded to their email with love and grace and got a store credit…so maybe it’s how people are responding??!!??

A few reasons! I can not donate anything to my local shelter if its been swatched. So I usually only swatch what I am going to keep. Also I tend to not swatch if I am going to gift the item away. This palette I think I am going to be gifting.

Nobody "hates on her." It's called disgust & loss of respect. She's dishonest (Mascara Gate, P. Louise double swatching) & fake (her accent comes & goes when it's convenient for her).
The drama with the Makayla collab is that they opened a US purchasing site after they put the collab on sale and didn’t tell anyone. Then the items were cheaper on the US site and they refused to refund the difference. The actual collab when it went on sale they kept changing the prices of the items all in the one day. It’s extremely shady. I saw someone get their advent calendar order video and it was an empty box with a note saying to contact customer service for a refund. I’ve heard it applies to other items not just the calendar
So they randomly do this and I hate it. I also don't understand it. But they will randomly just stop taking new members. But then they will reopen it back up again. And they do this all year long, its active, its closed, active, closed. So frustrating. Its kind of a game where you just have to catch it at the right time and sign up! I will keep an eye on it also for you though. 😉

I purchased the smaller PLouise Advent Calendar. When December 4th came around and I still had not received it, I contacted them and they told me that they were unable to find my order. I had to provide the information regarding it. I requested (in 3 emails) that they refund the amount of the Calendar and cancel my subscription. The Calendar showed up 2 days later. I haven’t received my December subscription box yet. Have December boxes already arrived?
No december boxes have not shipped out yet. They will ship on Jan 9th. I think the shipping is really slow and kind of confusing. Its the only thing I dislike.
I despise companies that won't refund your money for a defective product. Companies that send out defective product then tell the customer how they will honor their mistake is entitlement. The company I work for does that, and it makes me not like the place.
Im not sure what to think about this drama my question is how do we honestly know that there wasn't anything in those Advent calendars ??? I have seen people say things for no reason, but i can understand things happening, but i also think that maybe a few people are upset over damaged Advent calendars but i also have seen how the post service handles packages 📦 but i would hope that people who can prove that things was missing or not there all together make it right , but think about this you sent out 250 makeup boxes and 30 said oh i didn't get my box and i want a full refund that company is out that much money im sure they got to do thier work to weed out the fake complaint and the real ones i hope i explained that right , also u look great
I agree that EVERYONE should be cautious of rumors... But I watch her religiously. Maybe some people don't like that she swears... Idk. I dig her though

My November box says it just cleared customs in Chicago. However the items I ordered in October still haven't arrived. I got an empty box with a note that says my order is still on it's way. Oh man you got the clear/white finishing touch, I got the green glitter one & the yellow butterfly palette
That'd my thing. There is no gurantee that it will be good next year. What if they don't do 25 items and its a 12 day calendar next year?? I hope it works out for everyone, but it does make me nervous!
It opens up when spots are available. They do not have waiting lists. But once you are able to get it, most don't cancel because its hard to get back on it. I had to wait 3 months last year and I just kept checking every day until it finally showed available.
It's back in stock now and available to buy!! I just saw them on the website now and rushed to find your comment to let you know. They only open it up for new subscribers for a very brief window, so hopefully you can get it before it closes again.

The videos on youtube and instagram show no products. Its not just a few. Its the house with nothing inside them! And there is just a piece of paper from p.louise that says "sorry we ran out, please contact us about receiving your calendar free in 2024."
I work at a company and wonder the same thing when customers don't receive the correct item. For example, a customer ordered a high end product and received a different item that's clearly one of our products and not something the customer ever ordered . . .
