It is hard to say what happened between Fett escaping the Sarlacc and him shooting Fortuna. But, at least five years have passed. When Fett climbed out of the Sarlacc, the ruins of Jabba’s Sail Barge is in the background, and it is still smoking a little bit.

It would be interesting to see how he builds his influence and personal army.

Not to disparage that show, it was decent entertainment, but I've not bought into it as much as many have. Book of Boba is what I really wanted to enjoy

It's a great backdrop that provides a lot of important context to future shows in that Era. This series is their opportunity to world build off that and we can be thankful for that.
The Hutt Cartel controlled many Pleasure Cantinas, Gambling businesses, Space Port storage and repair depots, owns a multitude of shipping freighters for smuggling, and Many Loan (Collection) Companies.
With all of those enterprises you would thing the Hutts would simply become a legitimate government. Wonder if any of the Hutt clan left crime behind and simply ruled their region through taxes levied by trade. No reason to commit crime if one could live off the royalties with less effort and no risk.
You know what surprised me? The fact that Star Wars barely mentioned anything in the galaxy in the age after the uprisings against the First Order. What is the galaxy like during that time? Unless somebody decided to do something, we may never know.

I had a bad feeling when Boba walked out of that fun house without his helmet on. That is so out of character. And he surrendered his helmet so easily too.
He should be successful. Would enjoy seeing the bounty hunter retire and become a force for good. Bringing peace and stability on Tattooine instead of relying on the corrupt Empire. Also nice to see Star Wars in the Modern era, seeing how the galaxy recovers within the New Republic and the challenges each region of the galaxy faces.

The war went on only for as long as Palpatine wanted it to. That was an advantage to the Republic, but in the long run, only Palpatine offering up Dooku to die so that he could become Vader actually had a chance at ending it.

This show needs to get way more hardcore and fast, because that first episode was pretty weak sauce. It established Boba as a dumbass, rather than the underworld savvy man he is. You cannot make a TV show about the criminal underworld and assassins, while making it PG13.
Boba fett should try turn parts of Tatooine into Oasis's by water shipments from off world and they can slowly terraform land around important City's and Towns aka space ports and extend His new Palace and get a new Luxury Cruiser for atleast long range travel on Tatooine because technically he has to and the Slave I's fuel is alot more expensive plus it'll impose his ruel on the planet because he could spread wealth and water with the Oasis project it'll and turn the Tusken raider into his soilders and the Gamorens need and Armour and Weapons Upgrade but he could use his new moto I intend to Rule with respect not fear along with turning the planet into an Oasis it would be awesome
I never understood many things about the Hutts. They live for a thousand years, so you think long term planning would be a key asset. Over a thousand years, I would think a proper infrastructure system would make more money than having to buy, what I would guess, be a million slaves. Slavery also confuses me when it comes to star wars in general. With droids being cheap, only needing power, durable, and can work in any environment. Slavery just doesn't make sense fiscally. Slaves must die faster than droids get damaged. Slaves also require food, water and sleep. In fictional settings like 40K, where lives are cheap slavery or servitude makes fiscal sense. In star wars it doesn't. It only makes sense if you just want to make a statement. Also of course the immorality of slavery is terrible, but I don't think that is something anyone is going to learn by reading a comment under a star wars video.

This 'Disney-Fett' is the studios trying to correct something that was never wrong. Changing the name Slave-1 to Boba Fett's starship. Have his character arc revolve around 'respect'. Thus leading to a veteran bounty hunter wanting to run a criminal empire with 'respect'(Boba killed the man who graped his wife, he also hates Han Solo for smuggling the same drug that man who graped his wife was high on. How much more respect/honor do you want 'Boba Fett' to show?
