Dreamcatcher are touching on a very important subject here. Maison is French for "house" or rather "home", and they are singing about everyone's home, which is our planet. Previously they talked about online hate, now they are tackling an issue that impacts the whole planet and therefore everyone. Climate change is going to affect all of us, and it is already affecting many people. Island Nations will disappear under the ocean ("Save my home in the ocean"). Ice melts in the arctic and displaces people ("Save my home in the polar"). Forests get decimated by corporate greed and habitats get destroyed ("Save my home in the jungle") and disappearing glaciers and snow packs result in even less water for deserts ("Save my home in the desert"). People have a natural tendency to ignore issues that seem to be in the future - but climate change is here, right now. We can't wait anymore, and it is good that Dreamcatcher use their platform to promote change: "Break your habit now!" Musically I really enjoy the song. Like in BEcause, the rock/metal vibe is dialed back a bit, but it is still there and highly distorted. Although the more I listen to it, the more Rock I hear. I especially like how the pre-chorus and chorus seems to appear out of nowhere, the chord progression in the bridge, and the epic end part. The bass line is crazy as well. LEEZ and Ollounder have done it again, and the members are just brilliant. Respect!

dreamcatcher \:D/ most dc songs average 3:15 long so nothing unusual. the song structure is also very different with the chorus repeated 4 times. I think the song was constructed with their upcoming festival in mind to make the hook more impactful and easier for non-koreans to catch off just one listen. there's already indications there will be another world tour this year. my guess is europe first, then asia, then usa maybe around the fall time for us. get your lightstick ready!
The good part about being 5 days late is that you had captions. It took them a few days to get captions this time. You're not wrong. There's a LOT of green screen in this video and there are some flaws here and there. Mostly in some of the lighting (as you pointed out) and in some places where they overlaid (is that the right term) the members onto the CGI. But, hey, this isn't a Hollywood movie with a quarter billion dollar budget. It's a kpop MV from a small kpop company. I think they did an amazing job considering what they had to work with.
I completely agree! Even though Handong got the Thanos snap, MVs don't get Avenger level, cinematic budgets. I only pointed out the scene with Dami because it's super easy to have a flickering light to mimic the screens, but most people probably didn't even notice it. There were other issues with shadows and motion blur that I didn't point out because that's diminishing returns to add all that and 0.3% of people will notice. My ladies killed it and even though I had those minor criticisms, the whole MV was visually stunning! Can't wait to see them live!!!
I think that Imaginary would be a good Evanescence song for Dreamcatcher to cover. It's on theme and has some really pretty sections that I feel like would be improved by multiple voices. If it were just Siyeon then I would pick Wasted On You.
