Prb is Samsung log stuck at 4.2.0 colour sampling vs chroma 4.2.2 in iphone log And s25 log has some oversharpning and boosted greens even though just in colour correcting Samsung bit rate is very low as compared to iphone ProRes
I agree with this. I've filmed with the iPhone ProRes LOG since it came out, the vivo X200 Pro LOG since it came out and now the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It still feels like the Samsung LOG isn't on the same level. Especially with some weird artifacting in low-light situations with either oversharpening or an odd form of noise reduction. Definitely need to test it more!
x200 pro better phone for the money. I'm skipping samsung this year I owned Samsung s2 until s24 ultra and it still has the slowest UI out of all my android phones. Until samsung fixes their shitty OS that gets slower every update I ain't coming back. x200 pro has a better screen for the eyes if you like using your phone at night or scrolling a lot. Samsung has a wonderful anti reflective coating but still gives me headaches at night. The only x200 pro con would be the selfie at night it's too soft. With the CN version updates has improved it but I can't speak for the global one.
Great video. Can you please make a separate video on showing how to apply the Lut's provided by you to vivo/iphone log videos in the easiest way. Thanks
potevi mostrare il filmato creato con la color si vedono solo brevi spezzoni se anche mettevi un paio di minuti sarebbe stato più bello per vedere il risultato finale
The LOG footage from the s25 ultra is too over-sharpened, Samsung needs to work hard to improve that, it's incredible that a giant like Samsung gets such a mediocre result when Vivo has achieved a much higher quality LOG recording, it's a shame. Now you could also try activating the 'record video at a high bit rate' option to see if this can help, I've also seen some videos recorded in 8k log and they seem to have a more organic look without so much over-sharpening. This will probably be solved when Android 16 arrives and the APV Codec is available, which in theory allows high bit rates. Or that Samsung unlocks the API of its camera and thus third-party apps like Mcpro24fps and Motioncam Pro could record with stabilization.
Step 1- Get S25 Ultra
😅 thats a good starting point
@@umarnaqThat's the ending point for most of us 😂
Or maybe get motioncam pro and have access to not LOG but RAW video stream. That's like shooting in CinemaDNG. Works on all highend android
Or get an S24 Ultra and wait a year to one ui7.1 to come out
Step complete
Great tutorial. Now waiting for the log comparison video 😁
Thanks! I'm working on one as we speak!
very nice kuala lumpur city
Love it!

Better to use motion cam pro than native with samsung
@@umarnaq what should be input colour space and gamma for motion cam prores
Waiting for this
Glad I could help!
Does the base S25 have this feature too?
Samsung camera at night as like dustbin
It definitely struggles
Very cool kuala lumpur
Great city!
Wanna know about shoot video at night, should be chose Log mode or night mode? Which is the best way for after color grade editing?
Qeustion to also the viewers: This or the Vivo x200 pro and why?
This. X200 Pro has a very bad selfie camera and video recording capabilities and don't talk about it's UI. It's horrible
Samsung obviously!
If you prefer a camera more than anything get a vivo x200 pro if you want an overall good phone get samsung

Can we correct manually colors from the mobile directly with DaVinci ?
Can we switch camers while recording in log?

I'll give it a test!
@umarnaq Thank u so much bro❤️
Any advice for a Redmi note 9s user who want to shoot talking head videos with a cinematics looks???
10 bit ? Isn't it 8 bit ?
Please do a comparison between Apple Log and Galaxy Log 🙌
Mcpro24fps has an option to reduce sharpening denoise, its much superior to filmic
hm

samsung is far from video quality; the 90 MB bit rate is terrible. the iPhone bit rate is 700 MB; this is insane.
