I was really looking forward to you posting videos of your hunts...I subscribed to your channel back in October ...I hope all is well an you had a successful 22-23 season!?!
Not currently. The woods became so thick from the hurricane timber damage that habitat isn't suitable for turkeys. There are some in the vicinity and I believe as we move forward creating a more savannah type habitat they will return.
Rusty, I've always appreciated your info. Many years back you had an email that we communicated back and forth, but that email is no longer valid. I'm down in South Texas. Is there a way to contact you other than this channel?
Hi David, I remember our communications from years back. Thanks for reaching out and will look forward to reconnecting. I'm cautious of putting email on this format but have a suggestion. If you go to a website called " texasbowhunter.com" I post on there by the monicker Elgato. I have a thread called " A year in the life of a farm" You can PM me there and I'll pass on. my email. Hope thats not too cumbersome.
@@farmandranchlife5075 I’ve seen you said you’re from Rapides parish. That’s the parish I live in. What’s the name of your ranch? Do y’all offer hunts?
@@mathewraila2717 Good to see someone local here. Hope content is helpful. The property here in Rapides Parish is called Baker Bayou Farm and Market. Also have a webpage. Unfortunately we do not sell hunts. Same for our ranch, El Gato.
No, I tend to avoid social media. Down a different road we are starting a regenerative farm business here. You can see the website @ Baker Bayou Farm and Market
Awesome to see all the cows going after the green. Definitely I’m glad you quit the glyphosate. It may be a forever chemical. Land looks great!
Really enjoy watching your management techniques. Hope you have great success.
Excellent video as always Rusty!
Very knowledgeable mind you have there sir. Amaze on how you know of cultivation and wildlife.

Would you be willing to say what parish your farm is in?
