- Snow Ice is a classic after school snack from Grenada! Although it's not as popular as in the old days, there are a few authentic people like Auntie Esther that keep this tradition alive. Today I'm with Rhion and Juma @dreadshots sampling these tasty dessert like snacks. Watch out for the Guinness one, you might catch more of a buzz than you expect!

As a trini we call it suckabag but i also spent 13yrs in grenada and know it as snowice and let me tell you once the snowice have a little nutmeg flavour its all over especially the peanut and Guinness & milk 👌👌🇹🇹🇬🇩

As kids we called them cooliz or suck-suck. My grandmother use to make and sell them at the primary school that I use to go to. She didn't have so much different varieties though, mostly coolaid mix and lime juice, but she did have strawberry milk and egg nog too.

Grenada is known as the spice island. Their snow ice is known as suck-suck in Jamaica. It was a very popular cold treat when I was a child. Do people still make and sell it out there?! Great content!👍

Jamaica has that. Always has. It is called suck suck. It is mainly made from juice or milk and is packaged the very same.
Proper thing... Btw some schools in St. George's still sell Snow Ice in their (Tuck Shop) cafeteria. As usual sodas are taking over now.
