The people who need to be in prison are currently in top positions in running the country and buisnesses. The ones who are getting quick trial and sentencing are mostly now political prisoners.
How about we stop sentencing pery crime for years and years and actually go after the many many tratiors. Politicians, their connections and tender babies that have cost this country trillions of rands and continue as long as they have the key to the state funds
A Minister that is doing his job, previous we had and still have still Ministers which stay only at office to be seen, eating and talking and driving nice cars to look nice and do it for status. No work been done..... Further before 1994 prisoners had work in gardens, factories and learned skills, but after 1994 it became hostels/hotels thanks to ' humanrights:
They lucky they still get beds some place abroad prisoners are treated in such an inhumane manner whereby they stand n sleep their apartment a are so tiny n overcrowded they Stand 24/7 365 days a year so SA Truthley speaking are in luxury Google prisoners around the world n see how criminals are treated
I do have a solution.contact me how to reduce overcrowding .i spoke to the previous inspecting judge but he went silent.i have 30 years experience in criminology
Minister is not arresting anybody... Minister is only in charge of the prisons, conditions inside, beds and space, work and activities inside for inmates and such like... Minister is not responsible for the crimes and arrests...

Only 2 meals. They must work for blankets. I can only afford one meal a day.
