From an All Blacks Supporter here in New Zealand, from watching Maro Itoje for the very first time during the Lions tour this year, I can just tell that Itoje is going to be a legend of the game. He is a great player and very humble and down to earth off the field. Can't wait to see him play against the All Blacks again next year when they take on England!!!!!
Such a good sport! Such a positive role model! He should be everywhere, on everything... why isn’t he? His profile being bigger would do wonderful things for England as a country...
I actually always thought that the Lions tours would be more strict than when the players are with their respective countries, purely just because of the history and tradition around the Lions tours and how much they mean
As a Scotsman I enjoyed supporting the Lions' opposition this tour, given Gatland and his team clearly didn't bother considering the many Scots who should have made it.
07015678 It's that kind of attitude - and that of the Scots on the 1993 tour - that probably dissuaded Gatland. Plus two Scottish coaches rejected Gatland's invitation and therefore couldn't argue their players' cases.
Surprising because he attended three £100,000 public schools including Harrow school, which has educated members of the banking Rothschild dynasty including Lord Victor Rothschild, the famous ecologist and explorer David de Rothschild and seven prime ministers including the late Sir Winston Churchill, David de Rothschild etc...

What an incredibly decent, laid-back chap.
Can imagine him and Courtney geting on very well in the England camp.
