Wow!😲 This is exactly what I was going to ask about. It's terrible. I've been still neglecting and hurting my hair. It's showing in my edge hairs. 🤦🏾♀️ In my defense, I am seriously fighting depression.
Let me tell yall. I used to watch Cyn's videos and literally had her on my stylist wish list. I just never found my way to Vegas before she stopped servicing behind the chair but ever so grateful to learn the correct method.
Mam! I have practiced this blow dryer routine and my hair is so healthy. I stopped combing it while wet and use hardly any styling product. Thank you Cyn!!!!! The length since Jan 2024 is astonishing. ❤❤❤❤
Runny your fingers through her hair reminds me of a situation. I have great story to tell… people of color should be proud of their own hair. Here is what happened to a sister at my work place. We were all in a group going into the lift to get lunch. She was constantly running her fingers through her hair and this white lady said. ( nice wig!!) and she said, it’s my hair, and lady replied you all say that all the time and we all know well it’s not your hair. 😂😂😂. Long story short. She finally realized it was her true hair .
They sure do have healthy hair. Alot of ppl who only do natural style get their hair straightened and find out their hair isnt as healthy as they think. And the ends are split. . Beyonces product is really beautiful on straightened hair but of course the ppl came to use it for the same old wash n go.
Yes most that swear off heat have hair in the worse conditions I did this for years. I never thought about that it’s probably a great product when used the right way. Smh
I am allergic to 🥥oil, and I am glad I found out early, in natural hair journey. Your clients' hair is nice and thick, the way my hair was before menopause and high blood pressure came on me. You are right, having any oil on the hair when it is being pressed is like frying the hair.
The way that you expertly handled her hair and properly styled it from beginning to end is unmatched. Especially when it comes to professionally styling hair, you don’t just create hair styles, Cyn, you straight up create masterpieces 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰! I’ve been to different professional cosmetologists throughout my life. None of them can hold a candle to you, period. I always go with spiritual energy, and being in tune with what a person gives out, and allowing my process to process such in a way that allows me to either stick with a person long-term and truly develop a true everlasting connection with them or end things, and move on, to someone that I can connect with better overall. Which is why, I can say, that if you were still doing hair in the salon, I don’t care if I had to travel by plane to have you do my hair. But, I’d still show up and be totally loyal to you too. Every video that you put out, I highly love, respect, deeply appreciate, and consider to be an absolute blessing in every way. Plus, your impeccable dedication and work ethic towards whatever you choose to do in life is beyond is beyond impeccable. And, you most definitely deserved to be both highly uplifted and highly praised for it all! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It’s crazy people online want to say the curly gurl method reverses effects from “ damaging habits ( like shampoo and heat styling)” but the curly girl method causes even worse damage to their hair.😩Also, that looks like my former church member Najmeen in the last part of the video.😃😊
Idk I blow dried my hair once this year And I am so sad cuz it’s been shedding ever since. So I’ve been keeping it locked up in cornrows and moisturized for two weeks at a time under my turbans and doing treatments when I reset trying to save it. It was really sad cuz it was one time and I had zero damage before that.. didn’t even need to cut my hair now I for sure am going to have to trim. Theres a white guy on here who is also an expert he said you won’t need trims if you don’t cause damage through heat and chemicals and he is so right. The damage was instant for me after months of zero damage. The heat ain’t for everybody.

Thank you for this channel my hair has always been long but the quality was bleh🤮 and it would never hold a curl and it would get frizzy and I hated getting a fresh press and curl then the curls dropping within fifteen minutes style ruined my hair got worse when I began following the natural hair community my hair became weak and mushy. I died my hair with henna taking advice from the natural hair community and it fell out in clumps and it thinned out I was devastated and my hair is almost fully recovered 4 whole years later, my hair never ever fell out from regular dye and that was honey blonde but not a single hair fell out from it. My hair has always thrived with no oils or grease or wearing it “natural” and keeping it straight. Black hair in my opinion is healthier when straight no tangling. single knot strands no oils and butters that aren’t scalp friendly. Never again. My hair is long but in need of TLC so here I go doing the way I used to which was the correct way. I don’t know why I went there in the first place I clearly saw that my hair was longer thicker and healthier then theirs I should have have clicked off when I saw most of them couldn’t grow their hair pass their collarbone and their hair always looks spotty. Sorry for the paragraph but I could kick myself.

Her hair is beautiful. I just don't understand your aversion to wearing our hair in its natural state. Most people, self included, that do wash and goes don't walk out of the house with wet hair. It's actually wash, apply products, and blow dry. That is what other races that you talk about do. As far as people having damaged hair. I know plenty of people walking around with straightened and relaxed hair but think it's healthy because its long. You're not wrong about overuse of product, overboard oiling, and running from the blow dryer. Pretending that overuse of heat doesn't damage all hair black and nonblack is wrong. I see so many white women talking about how flatirons wrecked their hair. I have locs but before my wash, style and blow dry was my go to. I kept cut and bleached with no problems.

I got type 3b hair that is colored to a copper, it used to be white blonde and so damaged but I chopped it off and healed it with olaplex and k18. As for my hair it clearly is high porosity due to bleach and color so is it recommended that I still stretch my hair with a blow dryer or is it best to stretch it without heat? Girl this high porosity colored hair is something else but I love it

They shampoo it out they and they don’t reapply daily. They use it in extreme moderation not half the bottle. They shampoo multiple times weekly.
