It’s always easy to say to build your pc yourself and save the money ….. however, not everyone, is into building their own pc, is time limited or wants a no hassle solution quick and easy for a family pc. I personally have been building my PCs for over 20years and there will be a point when I’m old n grey and would consider a prebuilt or SI pc for convenience. Whereas my brother would rather buy a prebuilt pc than build one.
@@BonusCrook The parts to build my current pc cost 1500$ at the time I paid 1650$ for my pc, and that is without a windows 10 key, and this was post pandemic ad gpu shortage btw. Not everyone has ways to buy parts for cheap, some areas are parts deserts.
@@Waskomsause FB marketplace isn't the only source of hardware. Most good hardware will come from ebay like a 2080Ti for below $300 which stomps the 4060Ti. As long as you pay these companies lots of money they will keep treating you badly. And with such incredible 2nd hand deals there is no reason to pay for newer worse cards.
Well i ordered my horizon ii last month. Should have spent the extra 150 for the pro. It comes next week. I hope it still is a great PC! Im upgrading from a 500$ HP desktop
Firstly, about your last Price comparison with the Horizon 2 Pro, they clearly went with a 3 fan GPU which with a 4060Ti which is around 100 to 120 dollars more, so your price comparison isnt that accurate. Secondly, the price jump for pre-build, which is what most people seem to forget, is that there are workers, who get paid wages to build these PC's. If you, as a pre build company, sell these PC's at exactly the price or just like 20 bucks more then the price it costs to take the parts and assemble them, you are practically starving these workers because your company makes literally 0 dollars
The two or three fan solution might make a difference, and it might now. It all depends on if the cooler can keep the thermals in check or not with its cooling solution. Also, you're right. There are benefits to buying a pre-built system, and of course the company has to make money to survive. The point is to highlight that you can save money, by building yourself, but that's not the right way to go for everyone out there, and that's perfectly okay if paying a little extra is the right solution for a potential owner.
they upgraded it shortly after releasing the initial and gave people who bought the first version credit or 100-200 refund depending on what they bought and the upgrades added no cost. its a prebuilt company itl always be more expensive than building but this company is trying to do it right and its good for people.
Remember this fact people, interest rates if you have to get a loan to build your own. Starforge also offers payments. So for a $2500 loan you are paying around $300 in interest to the bank. If you are like me my PC is old and dying so i may buy from them.
StarForge is overpriced. Id recommend Build Pro PC instead. Their PCs have very powerful hardware for the price and the support is also great. One of their prebuilts has an RTX 4060, a Ryzen 5, 16GB of 3600MHz RAM, and a 1TB NVME for only $860
Well tbh, not everyone can build their own pc & not everyone want to build it even if they could do it for a lower price. I mean i do build My own pcs however sometimes i just dont want to waste My time on it and buy one instead. But i understand that you in specifics are speaking mostly to American audience and i understand with the slave wages of the average American they probably cant afford to pay 1000+$ for a pc, i guess thats also why the country is full of pawn shops 🤣, in my particular case i dont really care about the price as long as the unit works.
I am going to warn people now, Unless you have a reliable parts store to buy from DO NOT order parts from all around the US or outside of the US to build your own. You will run into the same bullshit that I did and end up waiting 3-4 months longer for parts lost, late or damaged. I started my current PC build nearly 5 months ago. I am FINALLY just putting it all together after waiting all this freaking time to get all the parts in the mail. I also ended up having to buy another Case because the one that arrived was so badly damaged by the morons that load the trucks, that it was un usable, so unless you can buy everything locally, just buy a pre build and save yourself the fucking headache trust me.
I had the same Problem when I built my pc. It was such a hassle to get the parts you want from different places some not arriving at all or Damaged. Im going to buy pre built just not to have to stress about it.
@@onewithmusic411Yeah it's really sad, the postal services are so bad. It's just not worth it anyone more buy parts for PC building unless you already have a reliable source. I would rather wait a pre built with a warranty then wait for 8-9 different part that may or may not show up, and if they do, may or may not show up trashed by the postal morons.
@@jasoncampbell1525 I got all my parts within 5. I built it for 2000 dollars. I look up prebuilts with the same hardware a ryzen 7 7800x3d and 4080super and corsair is saling one for 3500, I made it for 2,000 XD.

True but those who don't bother doing it themselves people are 2nd class citizens and will get a way worse deal.

You won't notice a difference, it will be great
how is it so far? Curious
Dang bro I’m sorry to let you know but the horizon ii is the same price right now but with better soecs
How is the pc? I'm thinking of buying a HorizonII, does it worth it?

Please could you make a video like this for their other pcs especially the navigator pcs
Man I just want someone to tell me what PC to buy that can handle 1440p-60fps on like every game without breaking the bank. In this the one?
How about the Horizon II ELITE? Only 2 months later and it has different specs already.

Looks like a good setup

Any plans to talk about AMD new apu?
Perhaps. I need to take time to look at independent reviews and numbers when they're out before really making any conclusions.
Ignore that, 40 series super gpu are a better video topic

This helps solidify my justification behind getting a pre-built because I live in a rural area and there's no good parts stores reasonably close to me
