The only method I’ve found to work

it will go through easy with 12-lb line and upwards I only use 10 lb line on my reel, so here is the best way, strip down a fibre optic cable and use that, heat one end with with a hot knife so it's rough and attach your line to it you can thank me for that by leaving a thumbs up.
