Hey Kennie, really enjoy your honest content so please keep this going. a few weeks ago I read this 3 Releases: The Short Game System: Transform Your Technique & Thinking - Dan Grieve. he is a coach in the UK and coaches Goergia Hall and Charlie Hull - their short games aren't bad lol. for me the simplicity of his ideas are great so thought you might get some nuggets too.
Enjoying your stuff Kennie. I'm trying to get from 5 to 3 and know I need a structured practice regime. All the best from a damp and dreary Isle of Bute, Scotland.
One thing I been working on is how to gain speed with a slow tempo. I do hit most shots straight, and my drives are avg 265 with a nice and easy swing. But how do u gain speed with a nice and easy swing. Is it possible?
When I’m playing, my swing feels easy it’s just faster. The speed training part is aggressive at times but it doesn’t feel that way when I’m hitting shots.
Way too much air under those chip shots. It's much easier to fly a ball just 3 feet or so than 20 feet. It's way more consistent too and you can read it like a putt with occasionally chipping one in. Highly suggest picking a spot to land the ball on. Those pitch shots on your follow through you should finish low and left. No flipping through impact. That's a no beuno. Also suggest playing elevator, meaning same distance 3-5 different trajectories. Excellent chipping game.

There are lots of good simple short game ideas out there. Speed training just tends to throw my controlled wedges out of whack.

I’m working on something like this for a video. Thanks for the inspiration!
I started chipping with a weak left hand grip(RH), especially on flop shots or open face shots
There are a lot of ways to get it done. Thanks for sharing!
What course was this? It looks like a nice practice area also does it have a bunker to practice out off ?
It’s Encanto. Unfortunately they don’t have a bunker to practice out of but I just use the 9th green when no one’s on it. 🤫
@@KennieKatGolf ty I’ll have to check it out

@@KennieKatGolf keep grinding Kenny. I like that dry erase board you had with practice all layed out. Helps to hold yourself accountable.
What happened to Kennie? Has he gone native? Was he kidnapped? Anybody hear anything?
Last few months of the year are the busiest time for me as an advertising professional. I’ll have some content up this week!
Thanks for following up!
Content has nothing to do with the title
I’m trying some new ideas. I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks for the feedback! 🙏🏿
