    Minimal gear sparring is also a good warm-up exercise, gets both your mind in the right place and helps your body warm up without having to go 100% from the beginning.

    I got reprimanded early on by my instructor for using feints during attacker-defender paired drills!
    Yeah guys, have a heart for your training partner and let them train properly especially if they have less experience than you!

    For the third exercise, is the attacker expected to ignore the riposte? In other words, is the attacker not defending himself?

      Yes, the attacker should be a Cyborg without heart and will which only wants "to crush the enemies see them driven before him and hear the lamentations of their women".
      But of course you can decide to also parry the defender riposte, using a variation of the exercise. Sometimes it also happens that you parry just for instinct, which is normal (sometimes in the video it happens).

      @@FedericoMalagutti Thanks, that seemed to be implied. It certainly makes the second parry harder since the attacker can attack into the riposte instead of defending. But that should also train attacking to cover or in mezzo tempo :)

    Avete fatto una qualche richiesta per potervi allenare in un parco o non è stato necessario nulla?

      Più che un parco è un posto sperduto nel nulla. Non consiglio di allenarsi nei parchi cittadini comunque perché a volte le forze dell'ordine possono essere d'accordo, altre no, essendo che aspetti come questo sono molto soggettivi e dipendono da chi si incontra non conviene neanche provarci. Trovare un prato aperto e lontano dall'abitato è la soluzione migliore se possibile.
