That defense matrix an instant before the scourge hit was legitimately sick.
right? Defense matrix is so good, but I don't know why Arty doesn't use it very much. Especially when Z goes Ultra ling combo I see all the time how Arty will use irradiate on ultras instead of matrix on his marines and firebats that are in the front. So by giving ultras irradiate he just give them extra splash damage and they kill his bio army very fast.. But if you give like 5 defense matrix to marines in the fron it is insane how effective it is..

Sometimes I wonder what the pros are doing with all that APM they have. I think it part of that has to be to check and make sure the thing they expect to happen actually does happen.
In SC1, its to optimize pathing and attack timings and stuff... once they have units. Before that its just APM spam, but can help keep their hands limber/warmed up and ready when they need it.
@@hemmydall Making sure you're keeping up with making units is also a surprising APM drain
@@AnimeFan-wd5pq Good point. Especially by the mid-game, macro alone takes a lot of APM to do smoothly.
It's for actually clicking on things, not shaking your mouse around in a location before you click like Artosis does.

Zerg: Around 150Apm, focusing too much on one screen, taking hands of the keyboard and thinking about life.
Terr: Around 250Apm, everywhere and nowehere, sweating like a pig and still struggling hard.

Great competitive game to watch! I really like this longer videos that show highlights of entire games. Bonus points when we see the opponent's POV.
I have to say I'm impressed how Artosis manages his irradiate energy.
I tend to get tunnel vision waiting for the energy to tick up to use it instantly when it gets to 75. He instead uses that time in-between to micro, macro or develop a good counter strategy. This is far more effective time usage than I do. Yeah he might go to 80 or 90 energy before he uses it but his actions before using it makes it far more efficient play.

- Flash would have dropped and killed the zerg third.
- Flash would have made goliaths and or wraiths against the guardians.
- Flash would have gotten some Battlecruisers if the game goes that late.
- Finally last but most importantly of all, Flash would have gotten his third sooner and put bunkers around that and the forth for defense!

idk if its just me, but sometimes the TTS is pretty annoying in YT format idk. maybe im just in a bad mood..
this annoys me all the time (Twitch, YT), i dont think its a mood thing.. for me at least :D
I don't mind the filthly donos and normal comments but it is annoying when they overlap with classic David voice donos, that's something I cannot stand.

Terran is the hardest race to play. Tvz is the hardest matchup because it requires such a unique play style and anyone thats not pro will never make enough vessels or be able to keep them alive. Also late game having to mix in siege tanks , mines, firebats can br hard for some players as these units dont normally get used together.
