These are mini history lessons. That's why I watch these. Don't care about the ghosts that much although they are fascinating too. Imagine original timbers in a house from the 1200s. As an American, I can't get my head around that. Love this series.
Would've liked to see the full episode, there's always two locations covered in this series which is much better than "Most Haunted" which was recently called out for faking a ghost and trying to pass it off as real.
+Liam, Accorah was indeed outed as a phoney and Richard Felix left the show because of the sensationalist leanings of latter series(Scooby-Doo effect) but what completely and irreparably wrecked Most Haunted's credibility was the supposed "Ghost Caught On Video" episode. The "ghost" was Stuart Torville, one of the MH crew. No one could take Most Haunted seriously after that. Plus Yvette Fielding's histrionic carrying on also put paid to Most Haunted for me. Great British Ghosts is by far the better show.

The scene was shot first with no-one in it, then again with Stewart Torville walking through, back-to-camera, then one camera shot was overlaid on the other with about 50-to-55% opacity. I know how it's done because I can do it myself with Cyberlink's Power Director software. It was *Chris Halton* who called them out and exposed the fakery.

@@neilforbes416 they didn't fake the ghost, yvette even said that it looked remarkably like stuart, it could've been a demon mimicking stuart.
