When you’re in dagger/rapier/felling axe range you’re making your opponents weapon sour spot you, so you naturally have a damage advantage. On top of PDR you’re making them do like 20% less damage or more by being directly on them
If you think about it irl a Rondel dagger would be way more useful against a knight than a Falchion or Arming Sword. A knife with a rondel + buckler is terrifying to think about actually fighting, he's just going to grab you and stab you

For extra fun, keep a windlass in your inventory for opportunistic shots swapping in. They could give slayer the ranger/rogue treatment and merge it with dual wield. Maybe give it 10% armor pen.
Yea but you need to get the other knight on the ground first, and a poleaxe or other similar two handed weapon is best for knocking them down and around, making them see stars before you draw your dagger for the kill.
@@hucast450 you don't really get concussed as you would think from strikes when wearing plated helms. it mostly just hurts because the helm pushes in on you, but the actual force is not nearly enough to really ever concuss you unless maybe its an extraordinarily strong person swinging. I've never heard of it happening, but I'm sure its possible. This includes everything from hammers to polearms. It is true knights would be pulled down though, but what would kill you is the person taking top control and wrestling you, the previous damage is almost always pretty minimal. It is why knight warfare had so few casualties aside from ransom, the armour really was impressive, and most fell to exhaustion rather than a mortal wound.

Do this but with sprint adrenaline slayer fighter (rondel short sword), 50-60% action speed w/ adrenaline active. It's cheap you hit ~75-80 with rondel to head, most classes will chase me through doors after I sprint and I'll jump back towards the door pull out my rondel, and just start stabbing like crazy and their dead in 2 seconds or less and can't get away. I'll also run invis pots to become a pseudo rogue and that's gotten me some kits worth 2x mine in some games.

To answer your question about Slayer Fighter, I've been having good results with the morning star and stiletto combination. Same move speed as castillon and arming sword, almost the same damage as the falchion, but with 20% armor penetration from the weapons alone.
I think they should remove weapon mastery altogether. The fight against the ranger is a very good showcase for that. Yes the ranger has more action speed with nimble hands and natural dexterity, but it doesn't compare with a survival bow on fighter. The fighter with surv bow has 55% PDR, the ranger has between 20-25% with warden outfit. The fighter has way more strength dealing more damage per shot, receiving way less damage and has way more HP. This is why when thelorr is fighting a fighter with his ranger he keeps saying they should fight with their bow and not try to run into forceful shot. The only advantage ranger has over fighter is the traps. Please remove weapon mastery Ironmace.
As a fighter main and someone relatively new to the game....I do think weapon mastery didnt need a buff. What does need a buff is chase mechanics and skills to catch upto high MS classes/builds.
The only reason thelorr lost to the demon-lock in the end was because lorr was standing still. The demon being taller and the sweeping motion of the Kriss makes it easy to land headshots. If Lorr had been hopping, server dsynch would have made it very hard for the demon to land reliable headshots.

Just tried this build, it's insane. Killed two people back to back in my first lobby, just rushed a barbarian and poked him to death while his bardiche only hit 70% damage because i was body blocking him lmao.
try a slayer fighter kit with the arming sword and git as much dexterity and action speed and u will get a good amount of movement speed already cuz u cant use plate armor and don't forget about ur dmg its not gonna be that expensive so u should give it a try its the best way to play fighter I forgot to use my second wind in a 1v2 and still got the w
As a ranger main I think high end ranger dmg specifically with longbow needs a tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny nerf. Maybe revert the +1 dmg they gave to longbows
Build 200 damage Windlass Ranger. You need to go Full Additional Phys Dmg. Then Stack All Phy power/str as much as possible. high risk high reward. Chest shots doing 125 dmg
11:00 the rondel dagger was used as a armor penetrating side arm. In real life the rondel dagger was more than likely THE best weapon for dealing with armored targets. Swords are almost near useless unless thrusting at armor gaps or flipping the targets visor open to then stab them in the face with said sword. Swords are meant for dealing with peasants, who can’t afford our fighters full plate build. The rondel dagger is in a strange spot since it’s actually the only dagger to make sense having armor pen. The stiletto dagger was an assassins dagger. Used on people who didn’t wear armor. Arrows didn’t work on knights either. This game is a fucking cluster fuck that constantly drives me mad if I stop and think about the weapons armor and stats. Like what if when we made a character you can pull stats and put it else where. But only once. It’s obvious everyone would drain their knowledge stat or their will or whatever. In all reality there should only be a few counters to a fighter build like this (it should stay). Bear, mage, or leg shotting ranger (it should really be all joints, elbows, backs of knees and neck if you’re wearing improper armor. I really hope they can pull a functioning, logical game out of their fucking kimchi stinking buttholes.
Lorr try to get more action speed on this build your dps will increase significantly if you can get some extra action speed rolls it may be pricy but it is worth it

Yes. He has a Service tab, where gear on your body that didn't get looted can be found after the match ends. I don't use it often (because I generally don't have great gear) but sometimes my good stuff gets left and I'll buy it back.
Getting physical damage reduction instead of armor rating is better because armor rating soft caps like crazy on the last percentages u can easily achieve max pdr if u take heavy leather legging and laced turn shoes plus heavy gauntlet u r sacrificing move speed tho going down to like 295 is still alright Edit: u definetly could have gotten more out of the build while spending less Gold btw physical damage reduction is way cheaper and u can easily get pdr and max HP for relatively cheap
You are missing out on at least 20 health. 140 hp is not enough imo on a kit that expensive. You could easily have 180 health. Try this build with the recurve bow. I
i did play from wanderer 3 to Demigod just playing Slyer fighter Duo. my parter was Ranger. but i did play with movementspeed and instead of Falchion i did play Rapier and rystal ball. stacked 151 Hp and true Phys and i didnt had problems fighting barb. yea i did kite him with bow and then i wen in but. it is possible. solo yea its really hard but yea then you need to play the runner class to kill them 🤣

I tried one of these builds the day before they did the buffs to swift and weapon mastery and it was completely busted then. I was unkillable, and the next day that same kit was really unkillable. i never lost to a player in that kit, it took a pve mishap on ice caves to take me out. I really dont know what they were thinking with those buffs and theyve went on for too long. duos has fell back to the plate ranger meta because of it and this shit aint fun to play against in solos either.
You’re an amazing player, but you don’t fully understand the build yet. This is the new slayer build. You can face tank other players, but your bow is still your bread and butter. In one fight there was a pdr fighter shooting you with the bow while you stood with buckler out. Then he had the advantage in melee fight and won it 2 times (luckily you got away). So use the bow more and every fight is gg
Hey I know it's not exactly your thing but you seem to enjoy ranged combat and the dagger so why not try out rogue? I think you'd really enjoy a poison build which happens to work on both melee and ranged attacks and stacks with flat magical damage
Yeah definitely not as exciting as ranger but still good! I honestly was thinking about going maz pdr fighter, spear, longbow and just calling myself a ranger still lol. It's crazy how strong fighters are. Maybe you should try maxing dex and using the dagger!

A dagger is way better than a sword in real life. Knights often in CQC had rondels actually really to stab weak points of armor haha

you need to stay very close to enemies, especially barbs so they can't hit you with the blade of the weapon and you prevent a lot of damage.
