The weather has changed and summer fades into Autumn. So what are people in Marylebone, central London, wearing to celebrate the new season? I love exploring chic women's fashion style. Vintage mixed with contemporary. Everyone I stopped was eager to reveal their style tips.

I love automatics now after many years with geared cars. Great hair Jo!
Love Autumn fashion. Layering and snuggly soft knitwear. Boots and berets. What about the pixie cut Jo without colouring ~ go au natural. Letting my silver grow through was so liberating and many people have told me they love it.

Au natural is great when your gray hair comes in all shiny and pretty. I know that my gray is very coarse and curly. I'm in my early '70s, and have always stayed with my medium brown color, which I know looks best on me. Especially when I have my hair done, because I am 100% gray, but, somehow, after the color is done, there are a lot of lighter areas that look like highlights🥰
I am looking forward to that massive subscriber's party with Dave, Myrtle and all your cast of characters. BTW, no fall here in So California! It will be over 100F tomorrow. I envy you your change of seasons.

Hi Jo, I love seeing what everyone is wearing in London …I’m in Qatar and it’s still SO terribly hot that we are far away from even hiking about autumn anything right now. I’m currently visiting Dubai and even here the daytime temperature is still in the high 30’s . It is lovely so to see people wearing coats and jackets

Your hair looks lovely Jo! Automatic cars are difficult at first, I had to drive my husband’s Mercedes’ automatic to Wales as he had dislocated his shoulder and was recovering. I got used to it and quite enjoyed it. But I do prefer my gears tho! I’m looking forward to your autumn wear. Have a lovely week. Xx

I love watching you speak to folk about their outfits- always interesting to see what the public are wearing. As I live in Athens our summers go on a bit so personally, I’m chomping at the bit to wear a few more autumnal pieces.I had a bit of a giggle when you picked up your temporary replacement Mini- if I drove,I’d prefer an automatic- the less to do the better !😄🧡🍂🍁

I think you’re maybe over-thinking the car. Do with your feet what you’d do in your manual transmission car, except don’t depress the clutch. Foot on brake to start (don’t hit the accelerator to start the car or you’ll flood it). P=park, R=reverse, N=neutral, D=drive… (press unlock and pull towards you till the right letter is “on”)…
But by the time you read this I’m sure you’ll have your car back 😂❤❤❤😊

Thank you Jo, I have laughed so much watching you this morning- with you NOT at you. So funny watching you put on your make up and then trying to work out the automatic car. And then I so empathised with you when you discovered you had to go back with your keys because you had got yourself in such a tizzy! How many times have I done things like that - I thought it was just me. Driving home from babysitting for my daughter last evening I managed to get myself “ lost” on the M25 - I’ve only been doing that journey for two years! 🤦♀by the way I really love the Mantle products you recommended a few weeks ago. I live in Nova Scotia, Canada, and our summer is so short. I am always so sad when it starts getting colder. I have not even worn all my summer dresses yet. Oh well maybe I can buy a new pair of boots and get with it. Love your vlog and look forward to it every week. Enjoy your week!

Your driving of the automatic mini was a hoot !! For something so easy you made it a complicated procedure. The only accident I ever had was my first car which was a manual. Never again a manual for me. Its like having a remote control TV, then going back to a TV you have to get up and change the channel.
Your hair is gorgeous! Mine is a bit of a compromise too - I would adore short but upkeep living rural part of the year is totally infeasible. I find your length the most chic and flattering but have to go longer to allow a pony as my main hobby has me out in high winds. Never underestimate the value of having a very talented hairdresser!

The problem for a manual driver driving an Automatic vehicle is when coming to a Stop or slowing down, you might naturally go for the Clutch pedal, and it's not there.

I love watching the “What Are You Wearing” segments on your vlog! ❤. You have such style Jo and it’s fun to see what outfits other people are wearing around town. This segment is a Masterclass in fashion! Your new haircut and color looks fabulous! I couldn’t help but smile when you mentioned driving an automatic engine car. 🚙. I drive a standard transmission car and it throws me off when I drive an automatic. There just doesn’t seem to be as much work involved when driving an automatic. 😄 I’m glad Dave has an automatic!
