I think it was a good buy , how much would those coaches cost you brand new . Keep the auctions up I say last time you did ok . Great video anyway cheers
Hi, I don't think it was a good bargain, locomotives run but they are old, noisy and have deep flanges so would run better on the old track, not your newer track, coaches and wagons need rewheeling, keep the good ones and fit new wheels, controller is a good make and might be useful, if you sold on the track, points, locomotives and unwanted coaches/wagons you would probably cover the £60 paid. Ps I think the Royal Army Medical Corp coach is not common. Regards George
@@chappelstation hi, yes and no regarding rewheeling coaches, if the coach is not too old then it's fairly simple to pop out the old wheels and pop in new ones, if the triang wheels have axles where you can see the axle ends by looking at the side of the bogie then you can hammer the axle out completely, you then need to purchase brass top hats which you then fix into the axle holes in the bogies from the back of the bogie using a dab of superglue, new wheels will then be able to be popped in. Brass top hats (they look like tiny top hats) can be bought off ebay, it can be a bit of a faff. Regards George
Looks okay. Nothing but a good clean and service won’t sort out with the locos.
Thanks, yes and I wonder how long it has been since they have had a run or a service. They don’t make them like they used to!

Thanks John, I don’t think it was an amazing buy but as you say if it was new it would certainly cost a lot more. Thanks for watching
Win some, lose some. Worth a try. Collectors will probably snap some of it up on ebay, especially if boxed.
Thanks, yes I think I will be looking to sell most of it and hopefully help pay for some newer bits. Thanks for watching

Thanks George. Yes the flanges are a big problem. Is it easy to change the wheels on coaches? Thanks for watching
