      After you convert all the channels to halftones, the next step is to move the channels to layers for printouts. If you're not sure how to do this, there's a helpful video that walks you through all the necessary steps. Here is the link: ruclips.net/video/-Ln5FdcP-34/видео.html

    Is half tone necessary for design if we want to screen print of tshirts

    • @learncolorseparation
      @learncolorseparation  5 месяцев назад

      Halftones aren't strictly necessary for every t-shirt design, but they're essential for photos, gradients, and any image where you want to capture smooth transitions between colors. Halftones add depth and detail that you can't achieve with solid colors alone.

    can a screen printer print over 20 colors on a tee shirt?

    • @learncolorseparation
      @learncolorseparation  Год назад +1

      To print over 20 colors on a T-shirt, two popular methods are CMYK and simulated process printing. CMYK combines Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black to achieve a broad color spectrum, while simulated process printing uses halftone patterns and color blending for intricate designs with multiple colors.

    How would you do for a black Tshirt?

    • @learncolorseparation
      @learncolorseparation  2 года назад

      For a black Tshirt, you can use a solid white underbase and print CMYK on top of it.

      @@learncolorseparation can I still use plastisol ink or do I need cmyk ink. Thanks again

    • @learncolorseparation
      @learncolorseparation  2 года назад

      You need to flash the white underbase and then use CMYK inks. You may also have to print CMYK with flashes in between. Try and see which method works well. CMYK prints will give best results when printed wet on wet with CMYK inks on light color tshirts.

    Why 15° and not 22.5

    • @learncolorseparation

      cyan 15°, magenta 75°, yellow 0°, and black 45° are CMYK angles. 22.5° is for normal halftones.

      I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with Photoshop crashing. It's possible that there could be several reasons for this, and it may not necessarily be due to the actions you're trying to run. To avoid any further crashes, it's important to allocate at least 70% of your RAM to Photoshop and refrain from running any other RAM-intensive programs while using Photoshop and the actions. Alternatively, you can try doing the steps manually if you prefer. There are tutorials available that can guide you through the process of converting halftones from channels manually. I hope this helps!
