Imo, black walled tyres go really well with darker coloured frames. I think it gives them a more sleek and stealthy look, especially if you go for a chrome delete type look.
I’m back for another comment, the 30 mm are more comfortable but the 28s will give you a tad bit of speed & acceleration than what you’ll get from the 30s. Your new black tires brings out the beauty on that machine @OB rides bikes 🫵🏽😉
Black tyres on your SL8 are an upgrade imo and draws the focus more to the colour of the frame. Tan wall tyres tend to suit bikes with a more muted colourway.

And I'm not one of those bizzare people who hates tan walls for the mere fact they are tan walls. And I'm only seeing this through a screen, I may come to agree with you if I saw it in person.
