- In this video I show you how to use proximity prompts in Roblox Studio! Proximity prompts are an easy way to let users know how to interact with objects in your game. In addition to being super useful they are also easy to setup and customize! Add the press e to interact dialog you see in many popular game into yours!

Hello, Tech with Mike you really helped me with my troubles in coding in Roblox studios but would it be ok if you could make a video on how to code it so that the player could wall run and also use a grappling hook to pull themselves towards other players, walls or any other surfaces. (both for R6)
Equip/ unequip tools areas, like lobby were you'd want it to be a neutral zone and equip again when spawned to a map
detect when the player has entered the zone with a hitbox and just :Destroy() the tools in the players backpack

Hi! so i was wondering for example I placed a bookshelve in my game and i want to grab a book out of it (a tool)! I used Proximity Promt and placed the tool in the proximity promt but when i click E by the bookshelve it doesn't give me the book. Question if he click that proximity, he can only get the gold at once time, then it cannot be clicked again nor add gold again
You can still do that. It doesn't get rid of the proximity prompt. If you do want it to you'd need a script that would delete it on hold.

I've looked at devforums, the toolbox, and other articles but couldn't find anything lets the player hold the proximity prompt and gain health. Does anyone have any advice on this?

For some reason I'm being unable to do something...
What I'm trying to do is that when I click E to interact with the proximity prompt, it's supposed to appear a text on the screen, it has a little animation too(Wich may be what's causing the issue) unfortunately the text is not doing the animation it's supposed to do.

you can add "script.Parent.Position = Vector3.new(math.random(-Random Stuff, Random stuff), math.random(-Random Stuff, Random Stuff), math.random(-randomstuff, randomstuff) )" i don't know if it work sorry, i just said it from my experience in scripting, i hope it works for you
