@@user-fd7wk8bv6i me? Yes build a lot of models back in my teen years, then give it up for several years due to work and other adult stuff. Took it up again 3 years ago as a kind of meditation - don't know why but it feels quite relaxing sitting there and paying attention to all those details

Wahnsinn. Das sind keine Modelle. Das sind Kunstwerke die in einem Museum ausgestellt werden sollten. Ich ziehe immer wieder meinen Hut. Und diese Detailverliebtheit....Kunst in einer ganz faszinierenden Form.

Excellent build and weathering. Love the layers of dirt and the overall effect is just as good as spending hours with a 000 brush spot chipping. I'm assuming that this is an abandoned vehicle as the crew would never have let the grills be plugged with mud. The engines and generators were prone to overheating as it was so plugging up the only cooling air supply would have meant a disabled tank in a very short time. Looking forward to watching more of your great builds.

@peacemaker.....modeling is not just for children ! In fact, many of the 1/35 scale kits of today, are designed with adults in mind. Some of the detail
and tiny parts would be very challenging for children. I am in my 60's and retired. I find these military vehicle kits to be a good way
to spend quiet hours and enjoy the finished project. It is never too late to jump back into the hobby !!

This is a brilliant video, its inspiring without the impossibility of other videos. The way Thomas builds and weathers makes it seem easy. The results are incredibly good looking and since he takes you through all the steps, it makes you feel like you can do that too. Great video, and keep it up!

I find all the work you put into it impressive. Especially that effort to give it a realistic touch. Unfortunately war is not a clean thing. Those more than 10 or 12 layers of dirt and details seem like a work of art to me. All the best.

Seriously, I can't wait for the diorama. This is IMO one of your best mostly-out-of-the-box builds with only a little metalwork and a whole lot of weathering to get it where you want. You've upped your laser-focused attention to detail this time with the track jack actually in use (apparently in the middle of a road wheel replacement) which I've never seen done before and certainly never thought of doing. It's a nice, subtle line in the story the diorama will tell.
I want to publicly thank those who can afford to support you on Patreon so those of us on inadequate pensions can freeload on them. My aged eyes and arthritis won't let me build any more so I have to model vicariously through RUclipsrs like you.
And thank you again for showcasing your work.

First of all a great build and really enjoy the work with the copper hope to try something like that soon a build. From your weathering I envision a diorama of war junk around 1947 but that is just my opinion and look forward to the diorama video in the future.

Zu Beginn erstmal: SUPER ARBEIT!!!! (wie eigentlich jedes mal ) Und zu dem Dio fällt mir folgende Idee ein: Im Winter `45 muss der Bulldozer dieses "Mammut" (kleine Anspielung auf den Spitznamen :)) entweder zu Seite schieben oder es wird ausgegraben bzw. aus einer Grube oder ähnlichen geschleppt(wie ein alter Dinosaurier). Ich denke deswegen auch die Menge an Erde auf dem Modell. Aber, lassen wir uns überraschen was Thomas da wieder zaubert. Könnte unter dem Titel: "Beseitigung von Altlasten" oder so stehen. Eine weitere Idee zum Titel könnte auch sein: Ausgrabung / Bergung des Mammuts" :D oder auch " Germanica ite Domum" Und zu Schluss: Ein gesundes, neues Jahr 2022!
