This takes me back to the days of Louis Armstrong and this one he did in 1952. I remember it from when I was just a kid about 70 yrs ago. I do think that the great Satchmo has a sweet spot for J None and loaned him his voice for this.
Since you like Geoff’s low drops, check out his Carol of the Bells. It is amazing! J has been working on his bass quite a bit lately. He was originally recruited to sing for the Navy as a baritone but has been re-classified as a bass and has been doing a lot of shorts where he is going extremely low. I think he’s trying to see if he can get as low as Geoff can on a consistent basis. I especially like the tribute to Satchmo. I don’t think this is a well-known song among quite a bit of the population. I had first heard it released by Harry Connick Jr. and then later covered by the Brian Setzer Orchestra. Since I had not heard it prior to that I went ahead and checked it out and found out that Louis Armstrong did it and that became part of my Christmas playlist as well. Obviously this is going to be added to that list. Thanks for the great reaction and enjoy your vacation.
They used a robotic camera arm for this video, which is why they listed a programmer instead of a cameraman. Of course, Layne still had to apply his magic with the editing. Did you catch the treetop ornament? It’s a golden VoicePlay logo!
J doing a great Louis Armstrong impression... VP sending us something very different this Christmas 😉⚘️🕊

You missed Santa talking to you. He wants his cookies!
I'm old enough to remember this, but don't. Doesn't matter, it has that Voiceplay magic!!
Have fun on vacation!

Well spotted.
I haven't gotten to the point where I am watching anything but our guys popping here and there in the video while listening.
Nostalgia Critic:Deck the Halls.
It's worse than Christmas with the Kranks!
Someone commented on VoicePlay's latest that tomorrow (Friday 12/13) they will be dropping another one!
