Yeah, and Yuna had Yojimbo's pet with the trainer dressphere. I am on my second playthrough. I had to look up a guide to get the dark knight dressphere. Also, for the fiend tales, it is best to get it done with YRP at low levels. While I am doing this, and grinding AP, so they learn abilities without leveling up. I am inputting commands like spamming potions whenever they get hit, after circling the Intrepid garment grid, which gives 3x AP per viable action. I want to dispatch YRP, like Charlie from Charlie's Angel's, LoL.

Thanks for the dressphere fashion show! Paine looks sexy in just about anything! The exception being her Tonberry costume.
I always thought the Tonberry with the cactuar was kind of frightful considering they're usually deadly (one-hit can kill you) opponents in FF games.
Her Tonberry Costume with the Cactuar Doll in the Mascot Dressphere makes her look funny, cute, and badass at the same time.
Considering the Mega Tonberry's Chef's Knife deals considerable physical damage to characters with very low to minimal Physical Defense, And the Jumbo Cactuar's powerful non-elemental Flare deals considerable magic damage to any party member with very low to minimal Magic Defense, yeah, they can one-shot you.

Discounting the Mascot dressphere, what is everyone's favorite? Personally...mine is the Dark Knight. Being able to use attacks like Black Sky and Darkness and Drain all in one character? Plus great stats? Yes, please.

I have to say that X-2 is in that weird area for me between good and bad. I have to admit that the job switching in the middle of battle is pretty amazing... but then the story is so fucking stupid and uninteresting that I lose interest, but I fucking love anything that has job systems in it.... It's a fucking double edged sword.
This gsme is the reason why final fantasy XIII and XIII 2 exists. Dresspheres system was the prototype role paradigma system....the prototype ATB.
X-2 really served as a testing ground for many systems. The in-combat job swapping was nice, but detracted so much from established characters and made character talents feel obsolete. Characters we loved were retired and was stuck with the three main heroines. Rather than recruiting familiar and new faces into the party. FFX did a good job of allowing party-swap mid combat, the Dress-sphere mechanic was this reworked but took away from the specialty that characters brought. There's much I'd change, especially in the story and how Yuna went from this pious matriarch for Spira to a carefree spirit singer felt very jarring despite the game only taking 2 years between.
I'd have changed how the Fayth's release from slumber having huge ramifications on Spira's religious and leadership path. Explore Yu Yevon's cunning actions and made Yu Yevon the enemy, but as a spiritual parasite that haunts Yuna and deceptively leads her through with the image of Tidus (Who was just a spirit dreamt by the very Fayth). Yuna recruits friends old and new, treading areas that had been heavily impacted by her and her guardians after unleashing the eternal Calm. Though she's heralded as a grand hero, places like Bevelle and Mount Gigazet suffered hard from Yuna's time as a summoner. Rituals that once were sacred had swiftly died out as the lie of Yunalesca spreads across Spira.
Yuna, no longer a summoner but a white mage/gunner hybrid with the aid of Rikku aim to follow these haunting signs of Tidus across Spira. Encountering the truth of war and how it rears its ugly head no matter what peace should be. As well as meeting faces familiar and unfamiliar. (Paine) Yuna sets out to bring peace to herself, Spira, and unravel Yevon's lingering secrets across Spira. Leading to the unleashing of the Dark Aeons, Penance, and the attempt to merge the Farplane and Spira. An attempt to eradicate all life and create a new world with the pyreflies of life. Yu Yevon's attempt to reconstruct his ideal dream once more. Yuna finds herself tempted to let Yu Yevon's dream be realized to have Tidus restored, but has to give up her dream to fight for the world and live in reality.
An alternate ending comes from the farplane segment, and the Fayth, notably Bahamut does his old spiel. A reward for saving Spira and the Farplane. Tidus is offered to be restored through the power of the pyreflies. Which you can reject for an independant, bittersweet ending. Or the reunion ending.

For Yuna, the explanation is simple: she has been raised in a temple, by friends, she has no family since both her parents died when she was younger. Her father is a high summoner, a summoner who gave his own life to defeat Sin so she must feel like she must follow his path and the people have hope in her because she's the daughter of the High Summoner, she's very probably the one who will get rid of Sin. So just imagine the stress, the pressure, a very young summoner, a teenager, who carries the fate of the whole world on her shoulders. Who can enjoy life when you have such a fate and you know that soon you're going to die ? During all her journey she was with people like Tidus and Rikku, who are quite extroverted and who are of the same generation as Yuna (plus Rikku is her cousin) so they got pretty close. Her journey changed her, people changed her, and finally when she didn't have to sacrifice herself anymore, she lost her companions (aeons) and her lover. She never thought about what she would do after her pilgrimage since it was supposed to be the end for her, so after that, she could finally start LIVING and enjoying herself. Being with Rikku, Paine and the Al Bheds, exploring the four corners of the earth seeking for spheres (yeah, because she's a sphere hunter, not a singer. Lol) very probably helped her a lot to lead her astray. When we think about all that, the change of her personality isn't that surprising actually. ^^'

The story is so much good, its just that you cannot judge it from X, x-2 is all about what happened in X so its gonna differ. Idk why people talks about yuna change when she is tired about living a life of its not for her, only for spira when she almost gave her life for defeating sin. I loved the evolution on her personality because she changed but its the same person on X too, the hate is all about the game not being dark when its all about not being dark lol, spira is changing because sin is gone and all is getting better(guado crying at corner)
@@shizukagozen777 I think both of Yunas personalities are very equal it's hard to choose which one I like more but I think I like the development and change from X to X2 to say that I like X2 Yuna more.

Mascot ironically are thr most powerfull normal dresspheres can learn autoshell and autoshield and have high HP.
@@ProjectGU I know this is so late but in the original version of the game you have to make sure you don't do the zanarkand hotspot last otherwise there's a glitch in the game that won't award you the mascot dressphere :/ which I unfortunately learned on my first playthrough 😆

How do you turn into their ultimate dresspheres? Do you have to have all the dresspheres?
You have to have the Unerring Path Grid Dressphere
You need to used/transform through all the jobs that on the grid you gave for the character. Then press L1 to change to Ultimate Dressphere.
I think there is one grid that yuna dont have in this video.

I really never thought this was a good game. I just didn't see any point it. Like all that build up for Tidus and....felt very cash grab spin-off. Idk I would've preferred a new final fantasy tactics

ChaliceQueen gun mage is actually can be of the strongest if you go out of your way to get the important blue bullets. And songstress being able to haste your allies with jitter bug is useful before you have full auto haste.
