I just learned that there's a mic on the bottom part of the topmost camera lens--must be why they opted for that "8" cutout to avpid covering the mic. Good choice and good design result, in my opinion.

That hexagon design is for magsafe charging.
Not on this one. There aren’t any MagSafe magnets. I know there are other cases that are way more expensive from UAG that have them.
