      Well first question:there are around 700-800 lightings over the world per second,so it can't hit all of the earths surface at once.
      Second question:it would probably create a loud soundwave(if all cars were in the same direction) and would result in a fatal ear loss .

    The 'mountains' on a Neutron Star are mere millimetres tall, due to the staggeringly high gravity and incredible speeds that the star is rotating at. Some Neutron/Pulsars spin at hundreds of times a second!!! Quite impressive when you consider these scary balls of death are around the size of a large city. Neutron Stars are scary but their variants Pulsars (these have beams/jets flying out of their poles, blasting anything in that direction with highly concentrated radiation!) and Magnetars (these are THE most magnetic objects in existence!)

    • @davidkennedy1077
      @davidkennedy1077 5 лет назад +1

      @@blurredlocalcat I've watched a documentary on the end of the universe. Only certain star (with a high enough mass) can turn into black holes, the rest turn into Neutron stars (Pulsars, Magnetars, Black Widow) or White Dwarfs (what our sun will eventually turn into) The Neutrons and White Dwarfs will eventually cool until the big freeze when all the stars will stop burning. Then the universe will be totally dark and filled with black holes and dead stars. At least that's the main theory anyway. Black holes wont be sucking everything in, as the universe is expanding not shrinking, so if anything theres less and less chance that things will get sucked into black holes.

      Neutronium can't survive outside a neutron star - it immediately explodes. It's not a real risk to anyone.
      ===========
      In case anyone found this scary - nothing to be scared of. It is about the stuff neutron stars are made of. They are held together by the immense gravity of a neutron star and could not survive on their own in space, would immediately disintegrate. The gravity is so strong that protons and electrons combine as neutrons. So it's not made of normal matter. Because normal atoms can't survive those immense gravitatinal forces of the surface of a neutron star
      If you tried to take a spoonful of neutron matter out of a neutron star it would immediately disintegrate and explode. Couldn't survive even for a second. This is about theoretically putting a teaspoonful of neutron star matter on Earth - but remember it is a thought experiment, you can't do it, it would explode as soon as you lift it off the star.
      www.astronomy.com/magazine/ask-astro/2018/08/neutron-star-brought-to-earth
      And the gravity is so strong that it woudl be extremely difficult to lift anything off it. It would fall apart in the process of trying. And if you tried your spoon would turn into neutrons anyway under the same gravity. There isn't really anything you could use to scoop up the material.
      Send a robot down to try and it just collapses into a flat sheet of neutrons.
      Robert Forward did a fun science fiction story about hypothetical life made up of neutron star matter. This is a summary in Wikipedia - it is a bit of a spoiler if you wanted to read the book. But lede is reasonably spoiler free.

    11:00f > _Xe-124 is the longest living known isotope in the universe._
    This is not actually true. There are many isotopes or rather nuclides which live even longer. We call them 'stable'.
    Xe-124 may be the longest living known _radionuclide_ in the universe.
