I was watching you on my TV tonight folding laundry, and my husband walks by and made a comment that he thought you were Paris Jackson. I was like, HOLY SH*+. You do look similar! Haha. How did I not notice that? Have you ever been told that?

There's nothing wrong with unhauling books. Not every book is for everyone. At least you try to read some of them. I got The Girl in the Garden paperback from one of my husband's coworker. I finally read the Fifty Shades of Grey series before the movies came out for my sister and they actually weren't that bad.

I so agree about binding 13!!! I was shocked how let down I was by it. I ended up enjoying it, but I thought it was gonna be a 6 star read the way everyone talks about it!!!!!

Try the audiobook of 13 reasons why! It’s very good!

Oh and it’s the opposite with zodiac academy! The first one is very rough but it gets better and then now it’s kinda too long… I don’t think they will traditionally publish zodiac academy at least not for a long time bc those authors are milking KU and that page count profit for all its worth.

@@angelisareads it’s the actual writing that is rough, the plot and potential is there enough to continue (for me) but it’s just cringe in parts 😅

I loved Where the Crawdads Sing and I researched the "controversy" and it isn't really about Delia directly, it has to do with her stepson. Delia and her husband were conservationists and actually doing good work in Zambia. Unfortunately, a death/murder happened and her stepson was suspected. I don't think it's fair to blame Delia for actions of her stepson. And you can't Blame Delia and her husband for doing what they could to help their son 🤷🏻‍♂
As for the adaptation, it was OK... Now I LOVE Daisy Edgar Jones and thought she was MAGNIFICENT as Marianne in the Normal People adaptation, but I felt she was the wrong choice to play Kya... I also felt they didn't handle the Jumpin' storyline with Kya... There was such a much more emotional bond that I feel didn't come across.

so agree! i loved Kya and Jumpin’s relationship and wish it was depicted more in the film. i thought they did a good job at catching all the main points of the book and plot though.
and i’m pretty sure part of her work in Zambia ended up with her and her husband being suspected of murd3r and still wanted for questioning so idk 🤷🏻‍♀️
