personally I do Ascalonian Catacombs (the level 30 dungeon) Story Mode, the big chests contain blue gear ofcourse but it can contain luminescent dust (3-4 silver per piece) and Radiant dust (6 silver a piece) and ofcourse they contain more than 10 per chest, and the bosses in that dungeon each drop Gilded Strongboxes every single time they're killed independent of the daily, so you can just spam that and see how much materials you get from all those boxes (you'll get maybe 7-9 boxes per run) some are exotic and some are blue and some are green but they're all good, since blue boxes give iron ore and decent leather/cloth/linen whatever, and green gives valuable blood and also decent leather and also platinum, exotic coffers drop masterwork gear with high chances of rare or exotic stuff, it never drops mithril ore which makes room for tier 6 materials such as the valuable 20s worth leather pieces or some rare tier 6 materials, with a good group you can do 1 run in +- 10 minutes. it's a gold mine to me.
for me the absolute best farming technique is farming chests in Bitterfrost frontier and buying that thing from vendor for 250 unbound magic....it has chancce (tested it and its 1/5) to drop asc material which sells minimum for 10 gold... i made 800 gold in 5 days but i was farming nonstop.... minus the sleeping part i was there 17 hours a day but hey its just something i find really addictive to open many chest hoping for exotics etc :D (sry ingrish)
i managed to make 450g in 1 day... just did it once but its repeatable ofc. start and end the day with minimal tradin ( set offers to buy lvl 30-80 gear that salavages into wood) ... do that for like 1 hour in the morning and again in the evening.. u end up having around 10k items (you bought for ~1.5s-2s/each) and wood thats worth (2s/each) since u get at least 1xwood/salvage everytime u get +2/+3 u make a profit especially if u use this wood yourself. Also its a great way to increase your magic find ( i assume a new account could max it out this way in 10days). Between that i basically spammed SW and lvl 40 fracs nonstop.
If buying keys and encryptions made gold, encryptions would decrease in price on the TP until it was no longer worth. By that logic only, buying keys and encryptions is stupid; just buy whatever you need to pair with the free stuff you get from fractals. Also, every other suggestion in this video is a noob trap; what Anet uses to trick you into wasting time.
more often than not you will not get a return of profit from buying chests off the market to match the amount of keys you have . however the daily fractals is a good amount of quick money.
jonas karlsson I was like you not long ago. One of the advice that I can give you is to use some gold to buy bigger bags at the trading post. It will be worth it at the end
I would not recommend buying both Fractal chests and keys. At that rate the profit is low. And because of RNG you might actually be out a few silver or gold by doing so, very ineffective method. However if you earn at least the keys or the chests by running Fractals then you can actually profit doing this method. I've earned 10 gold or so within an hour of fractals doing this, it just depends, like A gamer said, on the speed of the groups and the level of the Fractals. Good luck.

Hey, I'm rejoining GW2. I stopped playing before fractals were released so I don't have any agony resistance. Do you have any tips on how to quickly farm agony resistance/gear that would support AR so that I can start doing higher level fractals? I have a thief, a guardian and a necromancer at level 80 each and they all have exotic gear (either berserkers or similar, these were the "best builds" in early 2k14)
You'll need Ascended trinkets like Amulet, Rings etc. You can get these for Laurels or from the newer maps for the map currencies. Ascended Armor and weapons are available from drops from certain bosses or from crafting. Weapons can also be got from the HoT Elite Specialisation collections. Getting Agony Resistance is easy enough as you don't need any for the Tier 1 fractals, and doing them will drop Agony Resistance infusions which you can then upgrade to higher ones in the Fractal Lobby.
Welcome back to GW2! You should do two things to quickly get into farming agony resistance. 1. Get level 3 in fractal masteries. This gives you much better rewards upon completing a fractal. This includes more boxes, which means more money. You can get Tyria Mastery points you need from doing achievements in the fractals themselves. Some are quite easy, such as bowing at the end of cliffside or dancing in font of Aetherblade dancers. 2. Get to 44 AR. Most exotic backpacks will have 1 agony resistance slot. If yours doesn't, you can just craft a level 78 backpack. Then, buy ascended rings with Pristine fractal relics. you get these by completing Fractal Dailys. You should be doing as many dailies as possible, as you will always find other people doing them. Be sure to tell people you're new so they don't flame you for not knowing the mechanics of some fractals (or just look it up yourself). You can attune ascended rings to have two, and then three (just worry about 2, three is a long ways off...) slots for infusions. BE SURE TO REMOVE INFUSIONS BEFORE ATTUNING OR YOU WILL LOSE THEM. Buy ascended accessories with guild commendations for 12 guild commendations a pop. Alternatively, farm Unbound Magic in any of the LWS3 maps. These have 1 slot each. When you have 44 AR, you can participate in a 40 farm, which is farming fractal 40. With a good team, you should be able to beat it in under 4 minutes, meaning that you can just spam it over and over for boxes. Getting 30 boxes within an hour is easy in this way, and you get probably around 200 +1 ars per hour doing this. This should become a priority for your daily farm for gold. Otherwise, I think the leather farm in Lake Doric is slightly better, as you aren't reliant on other people for fast runs. You probably want to eventually buy armor for your toons, but note that since each of your dudes are a different armor class, so you won't be able to share armor between any of them. Thief is generally not very wanted in fractals, and Necro is almost required for late game fractals, so I'd focus on that for getting ascended armor. An easy way to get ascended armor and weapons is by purchasing them using grandmaster tokens and fractal research pages. You will need to craft the tokens. Doing it this way is typically around 10 gold cheaper or something. You get fractal research pages by farming daily recommended fractals, so do these every day if you can. Higher tier daily fractals actually have a pretty good chance of dropping ascended armor boxes.
I love RIBA so much...it isn't as boring as cf but you can still lean back, throw some music on and you'll be good to go. AND it's so profitable. (even though I still think that frac 40 farm is better)
Nothing about multiloot? You get to loot around 7-8 instances which is 35-40 rare gear. If you get around 2 globs per piece and sell them for an average price of 36 silver you get around 30 gold per 2 hours plus the mats.
I'm pretty sure that methode expired. Was it nerfed or something? Anyways, you also only get around 1 ecto per piece, but you can get to 10+ instances if ur not garbage.

Moreover, everyone has the right to choose whether to play ranked pvp or not. It doesnt matter if we get ranked with new players or long time pvp players. In the end of the day we all enjoy pvp. If someone doesnt like the fact that new players will join ranked, then those long time pvp players can stop playing instead of complaining.
they increase their skills and if you're a pro player you wont get matched with scrubs so it doesn't really matter, matchmaking is buggered as it is already, some scrubs aren't gonna change that for the worst.

SW perma (RIBA) map opening the bags on a 49-53 character and salvage is still the most profitable farm that anyone can do.

It is better but you need to be a better player and also have some gear, RIBA you can do immediately when you get to lvl 80 :)

Why? they will get placed in bronze, so, unless you are bronze, you shouldn't care.

taste the jam the quad jam they'll get placed in Bronze if they're not great. besides, that's how you learn and git gud, by failing several times.
