@@KarenLorre Hi Karen, your book Effortless Enchantment is amazing, as is your life story! I am a fan of your writing, your experiences, your Playboy days, your acting roles...Amazing is all I can say!!
Just wanted to say hi, it's been a very long time since we last spoke. I think we were both still in high school. Our lives have gone in very different directions. Congrats on all of your success. I myself went in the military for awhile. Then I went back to our old neighborhood for a while. I ended up becoming a cross country trucker. Owned my own company and now I am retired. I am currently enjoying the life of relaxing. I spent a lot of years working hard and traveling the country. I hope you are doing well.
I respect that you have always followed the voice of your own soul and people often underestimated the depth you had. I for one remember footage of you communicating with someone in sign language at an early age. Since you are not deaf it is not something you had to do but instead felt compelled to do so which is really commendable. I wonder if you still know that sign language even though it may be a bit rusty.
@@KarenLorre Hi Karen. great to see you here. Just googled and found these old clips. I'm about your age now, and it's fun to relive these simpler times, when I was in better health. You are a very nice person and great actress. Was always fun working from home and watching you all those yrs ago. Nice to see you doing well !
@@KarenLorre Say We're you like on The nighttime version of Sale of The Century with The late Jim Perry as one of the models around 1985, Why I ask is because your face was familiar on that show around that time? If not maybe I could be wrong!
@@dougghiz8339 yes, I was on that show. Or at least one of the Sale of the Century shows. I am not sure if it aired in the night or the day. I never watched it.
@@KarenLorre I thought maybe you were just on scenes of prizes that were on the show. All I remember was it was on the nighttime version of Sale of The Century. Jim was sensational & He was wonderful. I also loved him on Card Sharks from 1978 to 1981. But I never knew this at first, but He was also on a Canadian game show called Definition which it was challenging. Jim Perry died on November 20th, 2015 of cancer.
That was funny when Regis could not control himself asking her what size she was wearing. Today that probably would not be "appropriate". By the way Regis was acting you could tell he saw Karen in playboy magazine. I bet he got her to sign his copy during the break. Karen was way hotter than the old Tina Roberts and much better at acting I thought. I remember the day this aired on TV. I told my Mom I was too sick to go to school to stay home and watch this because the VCR was broken.
You were great as her follow up
Loved you as Tina! You and John had excellent chemistry! ❤
