WATCH: Sen. Schmitt questions Bondi about her vision for fighting crime in confirmation hearing

Sen. Eric Schmitt, R-Mo., questioned U.S. attorney general nominee Pam Bondi in a confirmation hearing Wednesday held by the Senate Judiciary Committee. Schmitt referred to her time as a Florida state attorney general and asked her to say more about her approach to running the Justice Department.
Bondi has been a longtime ally of President-elect Donald Trump. This is the first of two hearings the committee has scheduled for the nominee.
